Shyam Chhetri is a Nepali director and writer currently based in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, recognized for his storytelling focused on diaspora life and emotional realism. Born on February 6, he has emerged as a new creative voice with his 2026 film Prawasi Jiwan, a project that reflects the struggles, hopes, and cultural identity of Nepali immigrants abroad. Chhetri continues to develop films that highlight community narratives and the lived experiences of the global Nepali diaspora.

Starting from his early creative journey in the 1990s, Akash Adhikari (born January 5, 1970) is a prominent Nepali actor, director, producer, writer, and lyricist, recognized for his strong and dignified presence in the Nepali film industry. He has released 19 feature films in Nepal and abroad, establishing himself as one of the most versatile and influential figures in contemporary Nepali cinema.Adhikari made a glorious directorial debut with Ranabhoomi (1998), winning Best Director and Best Movie awards. Since then, he has acted in and directed several acclaimed films, including Panchhi (2001), Daag (2001), Krodh (2006), Shasan (2011), Kathmandu (2010), Kohinoor (2014), and Kanchhi (2018).He is also the founder and CEO of The Sky Movies Pvt. Ltd., established in 1999 A.D., through which he has produced and directed numerous successful films. His contributions extend to screenwriting, story writing, research, production design, and lyric writing, making him one of the most multi‑disciplinary creators in Nepali cinema.Adhikari has been honored with several prestigious awards, including the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Award 2023 for Best Actor/Director, the Prawal Jana Sewa Padak 2019, and the National Professional Achievement Award 2021.

Deependra Gauchan is a renowned Nepali film director, screenwriter, and producer who has made significant contributions to the film industries of both Nepal and Cambodia. Contributions in Nepal "Ujeli: A Child Bride in Nepal": This social tragic drama, directed by Deependra Gauchan and produced by UNICEF, highlights the issue of child marriage in Nepal. Sahara Sharma is an independent Nepali filmmaker, writer, producer, and media entrepreneur recognized for her socially grounded narratives and youth‑focused storytelling. After completing her Master’s of Science in Communication from Bangalore University, she founded Gauthali Entertainment in Kathmandu, where she began shaping her voice as a director and media creator.Starting her career as a journalist with Nepal Republic Media, Sahara transitioned into filmmaking with several short films before directing her first television film, Chasing Rainbows (2013) — a bold exploration of sexuality, migration, and depression among Nepali youth. The film opened the Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (KIMFF 2013), won the Nepal Panorama Award, and later received the Critics’ Award at the Toronto Nepali Film Festival (2014).She has since produced and directed two television series — Gauthali ka Kathaharu (2017–18) and Maya Bhanne Cheez Estai Ho (2018–19) — and hosts Gauthali Talks (2020–), a roundtable show on cinema and media. Her new feature‑length project, Ek Mutthi Badal, marks her return to narrative filmmaking.
