Anil Budha Magar is an award‑winning Nepali film director, writer, and independent filmmaker known for his powerful storytelling rooted in the socio‑cultural and political realities of Nepal’s remote regions. Born in Taksera, Eastern Rukum, he represents a new generation of filmmakers bringing authentic rural narratives to national and international audiences.Active since 2012, Magar began his career with the acclaimed short film Lomba (The Leadership), which won five awards and received nominations at seven international film festivals. His work is characterized by deep research, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to telling stories of marginalized communities.

Madhusudan Bhattarai (also credited as Madhu Sudan Bhattarai) is a Nepali film director, story writer, and chief assistant director active in the industry since the early 2000s. Known for his grounded storytelling and command over commercial drama, he has directed feature films such as Black Night (2013), Blackmail (2012), Nirbhay (2017), Destination Kathmandu (2018), and the upcoming Hami Teen Bhai (2026), where he also serves as the story writer.Beginning his career as a chief assistant director and assistant director, Bhattarai contributed to projects like Pahuna (2003), Daiko Sasurali (2010), Gorkha Rakshyak (2008), and Pratikaar (2013) before transitioning into full directorial leadership. His early technical roles—including work as chief assistant editor on Kathmandu (2010)—helped shape his precise visual and narrative style.

Rishi Raj Acharya is one of Nepal’s most respected film directors, known for blending social realism, cultural depth, and emotional storytelling in modern Nepali cinema. Born on September 14, 1978, in Tulsipur, Dang, he has shaped a distinct directorial identity by treating cinema not just as entertainment but as a medium of social awareness, cultural preservation, and personal expression.Acharya’s filmmaking journey is rooted in his academic background—he holds a Master’s degree in Sociology, which deeply influences his narrative style. His films often explore themes of migration, rural life, tradition, identity, and the changing social fabric of Nepal.He is also actively involved in the Nepali film community as a member of the Film Directors’ Guild of Nepal and the Film Artist Workers’ Organization of Nepal (FAWON).

Dinesh D.C., whose full name is Dinesh Raj Dahal, is a prominent figure in the Nepali entertainment industry. He has made significant contributions as a film director, producer, actor, and TV presenter. Over the years, he has directed and acted in several acclaimed Nepali films, including Maya's Bar and Chha Ekan Chha. His work has earned him numerous awards, such as the National Film Award for Best Director. Beyond his film career, Dinesh D.C. has also been involved in broadcasting, serving as the Station Head of Kantipur Television Network and Station Manager of Radio Kantipur. In 2019, he was honored with the Prabal Janasewa Shree award for his contributions to Nepalese society.
