Born on 17th February in Sindhuli, Nepal, Megh Lama is a passionate and dedicated modern Nepali singer known for his soulful voice and emotional expression in contemporary Nepali music. Raised in a musically supportive family, with parents Dilli Meghan Ghalan and Selmo Maya Ghalan, he grew up alongside two elder brothers and one elder sister. Although mischievous in childhood, Megh always showed a deep love for music, humming and singing modern Nepali and Hindi songs informally throughout his youth. After completing his schooling at Shree Mahendra Janta Secondary School, he pursued further studies at Chatur Bhujeshwor Multiple College in Sukhepokhari, Sarlahi.
