Satya Raj Acharya was born on Jan 12, 1978 to father Bhakta Raj Acharya (Nepal’s legendary singer and music composer & Bhajan Shiromani) and mother Sushila Acharya with one sibling brother Swaroop Raj Acharya at Thasikhel, Lalitpur 14. He is a prominent and prolific singer, versatile composer, song writer, ghazal writer, actor and film producer of Nepal. Satya Raj Acharya was brought up in a musical atmosphere. He was chanted and fascinated by music and used to listen to his father’s songs all day. Apart from successful singer, he is also known for highly acclaimed music composer, song writer, and actor and is one of the finest singers in Nepal. Satya Raj Acharya needs no introduction. Panna Kaji Shakya (1931–2017) was a pioneering Nepali singer, composer, and lyricist, widely regarded as one of the foundational voices of Nepal’s modern music era. Born in Ombahal, Kathmandu, he began his musical journey through devotional singing and later became one of the earliest and most influential artists associated with Radio Nepal, where he worked from 1951 to 1985.Across four decades, Shakya contributed his voice and compositions to over 300 songs, shaping the sound of early Nepali modern, folk‑inspired melodies, and bhajans.
