Originally from Kathmandu, he holds a Master’s degree in Vocal Music from Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata, India, and a Professional Certificate in Logic Pro X from Berklee College of Music, Boston. He is a multi-instrumentalist and a prolific music arranger, having worked on a wide range of projects—from devotional compositions to film scores. Notably, he contributed to the Guinness World Record-holding song “Melancholy” and arranged music for Nepali films like Timi Sanga and Ma Yesto Geet Gauchu 2. Miss Patal (Patali) China – SingerKnown for her striking Mongolian features, she was popularly called “Miss Patal China.” Archival sources indicate she recorded 2 songs in India in BS 1988 (AD 1931/1932). Sujan Chapagain is a prominent Nepali singer, composer, and lyricist, celebrated for his unique blend of traditional Nepali folk elements with contemporary melodies. He completed his schooling at Narayani Higher Secondary School and pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at the Ace Institute of Management.  his academic background, Sujan chose to follow his musical aspirations, participating in local competitions and events. Sujan gained widespread recognition with his debut song "Teenpatey," which resonated with audiences and showcased his distinctive musical style. He continued to captivate listeners with hits like "Gala Pukka," "Baaf," and "Lajayera," further establishing his presence in the Nepali music scene. Shambhu Rai (शम्भु राई) is a legendary figure in Nepali music—a singer, songwriter, composer, and sarangi player whose work bridges traditional folk and modern styles. Born in Chungmang, Dhankuta, he rose to prominence in the 1980s and 1990s with his heartfelt lyrics and distinctive voice. Some of his most iconic songs include: “Chitthi Timilai Lekhu Bhanchu” “Yo Man Bhanchha Kaha Jau” “Chalechha Batas Sustari” “Aalu Dam Chana” He is also known for his mastery of the sarangi, a traditional Nepali string instrument, which adds a soulful texture to his compositions. Beyond performance, Shambhu Rai has contributed to the institutional development of Nepali music—he currently serves as the Vice Chancellor of the Nepal Academy of Music and Drama.
