Santosh Lama, born on 6th Shrawan, 2043 BS, in Naubise 4, Dhading, is a renowned Nepali singer known for his melodious voice and heartfelt songs. The youngest son of Surendra Lama and Bishnu Maya Lama, he grew up in a middle-class family alongside four brothers and one sister. Santosh’s passion for music began at a young age. He participated in various school competitions and gained early recognition. His breakthrough came when he won Image F.M. Sur Sangam in his Grade 10. He also participated in Timro Sur Mero Geet, reaching the quarterfinals. His musical journey led him to Doremie Music School, where he honed his skills with a 1-year Tabla course and a 3-year singing course. Santosh's big break came when he won Nepali Tara 2. This victory was a turning point in his career, and it was during this time that he recorded his first song, "Bani Parecha."
