Deeksha J Thapa (also credited as Diksha/Deeksha Thapa) is a Nepali singer, songwriter, and music artist known for her soulful voice, original compositions, and strong presence on digital platforms. Born 1 September 1996 in Dharan, she later completed a BBA in Lalitpur and built a parallel path in music, media, and education.She first came into the public eye as a radio jockey at Classic FM (2013–2015) and a freelance event host, before gaining national recognition by winning Pepsi Voice of Nepal (2014), which launched her into the professional music scene and live circuits in Nepal and abroad. She has since performed at major events including the Pepsi Big Indie Party powered by MTV India in Delhi and shows across India, Australia, China, and Hong Kong, establishing herself as a versatile live performer.As a recording artist, Deeksha is active on YouTube and streaming platforms, where she releases both originals and covers. Her musical journey commenced in 2004 with the recording of her debut song, “Sinduri Sanjh Ma”, composed by her sister Anusha and penned by her brother Rajan.
