Umesh Pandey is a Nepali playback singer whose voice defined the popular film songs of the 2050s era, a time when audiences often went to cinema halls because of hit songs. Known for delivering melodies that instantly connected with listeners, Pandey rose to prominence with evergreen numbers such as “Rato Tika Nidharma Talkyo…”, which remain widely loved across generations.Pandey began his musical journey while studying at RR Campus in 2034 BS, where his close circle included singer Rabin Sharma and actor Bhuwan KC. Later, during his studies at Tri‑Chandra Campus, he became associated with noted musicians Shakti Ballav, lyricist Rajendra Paudel, and Prakash Shrestha. Aagantuk Kharel was born on 14th December in Shankhuwasabha, Nepal, as the youngest daughter of Krishna Prasad Kharel and Jeevan Kumari Kharel. She has one brother and four sisters. Growing up, Aagantuk was mischievous and loved singing and dancing, often participating in school programs. She completed her education in Amradas School, Kanya School, and Dharan Secondary School before moving to Kathmandu to finish her +2 at Nobel Academy and B.A. from Pashupati Campus. Aagantuk decided to pursue music after completing her S.L.C., joining Dorieme for 5 years and learning from Guru Dev Kamant, Bhanu Bhakta, and Bijay Singh Munal. In 2002, she recorded her first song "Tipera Fakyau Phul Ko Thunga," and in 2006, she released her debut album "Ban Ma Fulyo Ful," followed by her second album "Bayer Botai Ma" in 2009. She is currently working on her third album, "Aachal Ko Agaman," dedicated to her daughter Aachal. Beyond music, Aagantuk enjoys spending time with her daughter, practicing vocals, and writing songs. Mahesh Mukhiya Sunuwar (born May 24, 1992) is a Nepali singer known for his lok‑pop and modern melodic style. He entered the Nepali music industry in 2065 BS (2008/2009 AD) with the songs ‘Kehi Din Ma Tadha’ and ‘Tyo Pari Gaunma’, both later included in his debut album ‘Aash’ (2067 BS ≈ 2010/2011 AD) — a four‑song collection rooted in lok‑pop flavors.In 2070 BS (2013/2014 AD), Sunuwar released his second album ‘Promise’, featuring six songs blending lok‑pop and sugam sangeet. Tracks such as ‘Sanile Chhodchha Baru’, ‘Oh Gori Oh Gori’, ‘Pathibhara Devi Kasam’, and especially ‘Mathi Mathi Lekma’ helped expand his popularity. He also collaborated with renowned singer Milan Amatya on Pathibhara Devi Kasam.Initially treating music as a hobby, Sunuwar now pursues it seriously.
