Bimochana Lomjel is a rising voice in Nepali music, carrying forward the rich artistic legacy of her parents—composer Chandan Lomjel and singer Daisy Baraili. Born and raised in Darjeeling, Bimochana first captured national attention as a standout contestant on The Voice of Nepal Season 2, where her classical finesse and emotional depth set her apart. She debuted with the song “Timi” and has since released tracks like “Charke Najarle”, “Laijaw”, and “Maya Baiguni”. Her performances in the Paleti music series—especially renditions of “Lekheko Thiye Chithi” and “Kataa Kataa Bataasamaa”—highlight her poetic sensibility and vocal maturity. These songs were composed by her father and often feature lyrics by the late Norden Rumba, creating a beautiful intergenerational collaboration.

Laboni Chakraborty is a talented Nepali classical singer originally from Kolkata, India. She has made a significant impact on Nepal’s contemporary classical music scene, captivating audiences with her soulful renditions. She is also a judge on the Mero Voice Universe talent show.  Early Life & Education Laboni Chakraborty grew up in a musical family, where her father and relatives were singers. She began learning music at the age of five under the guidance of Baishali Juardhar. Later, she trained under Ajoy Chakrabarty, a renowned Hindustani classical vocalist, for ten years. She pursued her academic degree in music at Rabindra Bharati University, where she was a gold medalist in her master’s program. Career & Contributions Despite her strong musical foundation in India, Laboni Chakraborty chose to work in Nepal, where she has become one of the most respected classical singers. She teaches music at Lalit Kala Campus, Tribhuvan University, and runs her own music school, Raagrup, where she mentors aspiring musicians. She has performed in various prestigious events, including the Yalamaya Classic, where her rendition of Vilambit and Madhya Khayal in Raag Todi received a standing ovation. Active since 2018, he writes, composes, and arranges his own music, often collaborating with producers like Nikesh Karki and Kobid Bazra. His YouTube channel has built a loyal fanbase, making him a standout voice in Nepal’s contemporary music scene.

Rajesh Payal Rai is a celebrated Nepalese singer and actor, often referred to as "Rai is King" in the Nepali music industry. Born on September 30, 1976, in Khotang District, Nepal, he has been active in the music scene since 1992. Over his illustrious career, he has recorded songs for more than 500 Nepali movies and released numerous private albums, such as Darshan Namaste, Rai is King, and Jadau. His versatility extends to singing in multiple languages, including Japanese and Assamese. Rajesh Payal Rai has also performed internationally, captivating audiences across the globe. In addition to his musical achievements, he has been a coach on The Voice of Nepal since 2022. His contributions to music and his global tours have made him a beloved figure among the Nepali diaspora.
