Rajendra Khadgi

Jayanendra Chand Thakuri (1942–2020) was a prolific Nepali film actor whose career helped shape the foundation of modern Nepali cinema. A former Indian Army serviceman and Jawalakhel Youth Club cricketer, he entered films with Jeevan Rekha (1982) and went on to appear in over 100 films, becoming one of the most recognizable character actors of his era. Known for his grounded performances in social dramas, romantic stories, and action narratives, he brought emotional weight and authenticity to every role. His notable works include Kanchhi, Bishwas, Maya Preeti, Pheri Bhetaula, Angarakshyak, and Parkhi Base. He remained active until 2011 and is remembered as a respected, steady pillar of Nepali cinema.

Oshin Bhattarai is a Nepali film artist, model, and host known for her emerging presence across cinema, fashion, and digital media. She made her acting debut with the 2026 feature film Dalle Le Entryo Maryo, marking her formal entry into Nepali cinema. Alongside films, she appears in the comedy‑drama serial Bhaag Daud, where her expressive timing and relatable screen presence have helped expand her audience reach. Before transitioning into acting, she built visibility through modeling, fashion shoots, and event hosting, recognized for her confident presentation style and polished on‑camera delivery. Mukunda Shrestha is a veteran Nepali film actor recognized for his powerful presence in action, antagonist, and character roles across more than four decades of cinema. Emerging during the formative years of modern Nepali filmmaking, he built a reputation for intensity, discipline, and memorable screen performances. His work spans notable films such as Kohinoor, Basain, Muskan, and several mainstream action features that defined their era. After stepping away from the industry for nearly a decade, he returned with renewed energy in Laaj Sharanam, reaffirming his commitment to Nepali cinema and his enduring connection with audiences.

Sushila Rayamajhi was a respected Nepali film artist known for her natural, emotionally grounded performances and her versatile contributions to cinema. Beginning her career through radio plays, she later worked at Rastriya Naachghar before transitioning fully into films, where she appeared in more than 50 movies. She gained recognition with her lead role in Chot and went on to act in acclaimed films such as Prem Pinda, A Mero Hajur, Kaha Bhetiyela, Pahuna, Nata Ragat Ko, and Yug Dekhi Yug Samma. She also produced and co‑produced films like Dhan Sampati and Pinjada, showcasing her creative range. Rayamajhi passed away on 26 January 2012 after battling uterine cancer, leaving behind a meaningful legacy in Nepali cinema.
