Umesh Pandit started learning flute at his early age under the guidance of flutist and founding member of Sukarma Manose Singh and Sehanai with late Pt. Madan Bhatta. As a fine musical talent, he has been honored and recognized by various national and international artistes that include an opportunity to play together with the Grammy Award winning famous Indian Classical Hawaian guitarist Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. He has performed in different places in Nepal and abroad. Umesh has proved himself as a successful composer and flutist among his fellow artistes.

He has established himself as a creative force in composition, blending contemporary musical elements with Nepali melodies.He is the Chairman of the Music Composers Association Nepal, playing a significant role in promoting and supporting music composers across the country.As a composer, Asta Lama has worked on various musical projects, including songs like “Ramri Pani Bhaki Chhu” from the film Dulahi, showcasing his ability to create emotionally engaging and commercially appealing music.Beyond composition, he is actively involved in strengthening Nepal’s music industry through leadership, collaboration, and advocacy for composers. Shyamshwet Rasaily is a Nepali singer, recording engineer, and music arranger known for his versatile vocal work and technical contribution to modern Nepali music. Active across folk, pop, and contemporary commercial genres, he has recorded, arranged, and performed in numerous popular songs featured on major platforms. His collaborations include widely recognized tracks such as “Galbandi,” “Pir,” “Babari Rang,” “Jhari Pareko Raat,” and “Kafalko Dana,” where his voice and arrangements appear alongside leading artists of Nepal’s current music scene.Rasaily’s dual expertise as both a vocalist and a studio professional has made him a sought‑after figure in recording and production environments.
