Prabesh Man Shakya (प्रवेश मान शाक्य) is a talented Nepali singer, composer, and music arranger known for his soulful voice and dedication to preserving and reinterpreting traditional melodies. He is the son of the legendary singer Panna Kaji Shakya, and has continued his father’s musical legacy by reviving classic songs with modern arrangements. Some of his notable works include: “Tiriri Murali Bajyo Banaima” – a reimagined version of his father’s iconic song “Ke Bho Ke Bho” – a contemporary original from his album Prashansa “Rajmati” – a heartfelt Newa song that showcases his cultural roots In 2025, he released Super Selection of Prabesh Man Shakya, Vol. 1, a remastered collection featuring collaborations with artists like Sukmit Gurung, Manila Sotang, Lasmit Rai, and Pabitra Subba.

Daisy Baraili is a cherished figure in Nepali music, known for her emotive voice and poetic depth. Originally from Darjeeling, she rose to fame with her soulful performance of “Bhaisi Ladyo Hai Maya Bhirbata Hera”, a song that became an instant classic after airing on Radio Nepal. Her repertoire spans heartfelt ballads like “Euta Khulla Kitab”, “Bhikhari Hoon Ma”, and “Bandhan Ra Badhyatama”, many of which were featured in the beloved Paleti music series. Tsujil Karmacharya is a renowned name in the Nepali music industry. Born on 26 December, 1979, in a small village of Bhainse in Central Region of Nepal sharing his birthdays with some of the world famous musicians (Ulrich of Metallica and James Kottak of Scorpions), Tsujil is not only a singer but also a model, music composer and an engineer. He has various titles and professions added with his name and have gained popularity in short period of time because of his multi talented characteristic. He used to watch the cultural shows organized by Rapti Club, a local club, which really impressed him when he was a child. He was inspired by his uncle who used to perform with the club regularly and later, he started walking on the steps of his elder brother. He used to sing and record songs into a worn out tape-recorder, playing the flute and harmonica and pencil sketching, etc. became his hobbies and he took all opportunities he got of singing at his school’s cultural programs despite his shy nature. He picked up guitar for the first time at the age of 14. However, back then, guitars were not allowed in his hostel so in order to kill desperation, he tore a hard cover from an old notebook, shaped it into a guitar’s neck, drew lines to resemble fret boards in it and stapled it to give the feel of strings. This is how he learned his first few chords. Interesting, isn’t it?    

Bidhan Shrestha represents the younger generation of Nepali music. He is known for his unique vocal performance and song selection. Growing up in a musical family, Bidhan groomed himself under the mentorship of his father, Bijay Shrestha, a renowned musician and lyricist based in Sunsari. Later, he further honed his skills under the guidance of Ambar Gurung. You can listen to his music on platforms like Spotify, where he has around 11.2K monthly listeners.
