Suresh Raj Bajracharya is one of Nepal’s foremost sarod maestros, known for his deep devotion to classical music and his role in preserving the rich heritage of Hindustani instrumental traditions. With over three decades of experience, he has become a revered figure in Nepal’s music scene, performing at venues like Yala Mandala and collaborating with artists such as Laxmi Prasad Dangol and Mannu Shahi. His compositions—like “Intransient Nature”, “Childhoodness”, and “Jaya Namah Shree Buddha”—blend meditative ragas with spiritual depth. Bajracharya is also known for his unique offering to the Living Goddess Kumari, where he sought to teach her the sarod as a gesture of cultural devotion. His albums, including The Nature, are available on platforms like Deezer. Through teaching, composing, and performing, Suresh Raj Bajracharya continues to inspire a new generation of classical musicians in Nepal and beyond.

Deep Tuladhar is a legendary Nepali sound engineer, music producer, and playback singer whose career spans nearly four decades. He has worked behind the scenes on over 15,000 songs, shaping the sonic identity of modern Nepali music across genres—from folk and pop to film soundtracks. He is best known for his contributions to iconic films like Balidaan (1997), where he served as a playback singer, and Thuldai (1999), where he worked as a sound recordist and music technician. His technical expertise and artistic sensibility have made him a go-to figure for generations of Nepali musicians and filmmakers. In addition to his studio work, Tuladhar has also released devotional and cover songs, such as Dakshinkali Bhajan and a tribute to Mohammad Rafi titled Ek Haseen Sham Ko. His recent appearance on the Mhendolafole Podcast offered a rare glimpse into his journey, challenges, and the evolution of sound design in Nepal.  

Kamala Shrestha is a celebrated Nepali singer known for her expressive voice and versatility across genres. She was born on Kartik 9, 2005 BS (approximately October 25, 1948 AD) in Kathmandu to Ram Bahadur Shrestha and Indra Maya Shrestha. Kamala began singing as a child and entered the professional music scene around 2024 BS (1967 AD) when she won first prize at a Radio Nepal anniversary competition for her song Naugediko Mala Mero. This marked the beginning of her active musical career, which flourished through the late 1960s, 1970s, and beyond. She was mentored by legendary composer Natikaji, who recognized her talent when she was just 13. Through Radio Nepal, she collaborated with iconic artists like Shiva Shankar and contributed to a wide range of musical styles—bhajans, Newari songs, Bhojpuri numbers, patriotic anthems, folk tunes, and adhunik (modern) songs. Over her career, she recorded more than 400 songs, many of which remain sadabahar (evergreen) classics. Kamala Shrestha also performed internationally, representing Nepal in India, China, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Japan, and other countries. Her dedication to music continued even after marriage and motherhood, defying social expectations of the time.

The remarkable Nepalese guitarist, arranger Dinesh Shrestha, was born on 25th January 1978 A.D. in Putalisadak, Kathmandu, Nepal to father Kashi Bahadur Shrestha and mother Ram Kumari Shrestha. Dinesh Shrestha was an accomplished guitarist, and was best known there for his rock/blues playing and one of the founder members of “The Buds Band”. Dinesh Shrestha was taught initially by his guru Phiroj Shyangden (guitarist and founder member of 1974 A D Band) on ‘Do Re Mi Music Institute’ in Kathmandu, but it soon became apparent that the boy was a gifted guitarist. Dinesh Shrestha was appeared and performed at “Shikhar Beat Contest” for the first time at Katmandu about 1994 A.D. and making enough of an impression that the famous guitarist. His band also participated in other competition like “Tuborg Music Festival’99”whne they got the first position as “The Band Of the Year” and after they participated on other programs like “Mahashivaratri Music Festival’99”,”Kathmandu Utsav’99”, “Beat Competition’98” and more than fifty programs and concerts. He made his official debut from famous Nepalese band “The Buds” from 1994 A.D. as a lead guitarist including other band members Sudip Singh (Rhythm), Bijaya Karki (Bass/Vocal), Dipesh Shrestha (Drummer/Vocal), Sushil Shrestha (Rhythm), and received reviews that noted a strong, clean tone and a polished though undemonstrative technique. The first album titled “Birsana Sakdina” including nine songs titled “Birsana Sakdina”, ‘Bihani Ko Mirmirema” etc and Second album “Buds 2” which was popular amongst Nepalese people. He had performed by the early 1990's within the various parts of country and has since performed with outstanding success playing both solo and with Band and regularly on radio and television. Now with business and academic reasons he is separated with his band members and no new project will be plan for till now.
