Yatiraj Adhikari is a respected Nepali violinist, music educator, and classical performer from Dang, Nepal. He serves as a Lecturer at Sirjana College of Fine Arts and an Assistant Professor of Music at Lalit Kala Campus, Nepal’s premier fine arts institution. With a deep foundation in Hindustani classical music, Yatiraj is known for his soulful violin renditions of ragas such as Bihag and Bageshree, often performed in both solo and collaborative settings. With a deep foundation in Indian classical music, he has performed at prestigious venues such as the Harmony Nepal Japan concert at Patan Museum, where he played Raga Bageshree alongside tabla maestro Milesh Tandukar. Sawan has spent several years teaching music in Japan, where he continues to promote South Asian classical traditions to international audiences. His performances are marked by meditative depth, melodic clarity, and a strong sense of raga structure. He is also associated with the Society of Classical Music Nepal, contributing to educational sessions and cultural exchange programs.
