Alok Nembang (June 9, 1973 – November 6, 2014) was one of Nepal’s most influential film and music‑video directors, celebrated for shaping the visual language of modern Nepali pop culture. Beginning his career as a VJ and model, he went on to direct over 600 music videos, introducing cinematic style, fresh aesthetics, and youth‑driven storytelling. Nembang made his feature‑film debut with the hit romantic drama Sano Sansar (2008), followed by Kohi Mero (2010). Known for his creativity, discipline, and trend‑setting vision, he remains a defining figure in Nepal’s contemporary visual and musical landscape.

Pooja Chand Lama is a Nepali actress who gained fame in the 1990s and early 2000s for her performances in the Nepali film industry. She began her acting career in 1991 and appeared in several notable films, including Papi, Sindoor, and Badal. Her acting skills and on-screen presence made her a prominent figure in Nepali cinema during her time. In addition to her acting career, Pooja Chand Lama also explored music and released a musical album titled Kasari Samjhau in 2011. She later moved to the United States, where she married musician Raju Lama, a member of the band The Angels. The couple resides in the U.S., and Pooja has taken a step back from the Nepali film industry

Neer Bikram Shah, also known as Nir Shah, is a Nepalese movie actor, a poet, lyricist, movie director,media personality and businessman. He is related to the Royal family of Nepal. Neer Shah is the producer or co-producer of many Nepali movies. He has also directed several Nepali movies produced by himself, including Basudev, Pachchis Basanta, Basanti, and a Nepal Bhasa movie Rajamati. He is also a co-producer of the Oscar nominated film Himalaya – l’enfance d’un chef, which was co-produced and directed by the French movie maker Eric Valli. The film, also released as Caravan (in Canada) and Himalaya (in Denmark and France), was the first film from Nepal to win an Oscar nomination.

Gaurav Darpan is a talented Nepali singer, composer, lyricist, and music producer born on December 12 in Pathari Shanishchare, Morang, Nepal. As the founder and managing director of Tune & Tone Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., he has also played a vital role in promoting independent music in Nepal. He is actively involved as a composer and coordinator at Sur Sangam Recording Studio and has served as a Pre- judge and mentor on the music reality show Nepal Idol, Nepal Star And Mero Voice Universe S2. Gaurav is widely respected for his humble nature and dedication to authentic Nepali sounds. His work continues to influence the evolving Nepali music scene, and his legacy lies in both his soulful creations and his efforts to nurture new talent.
