Deepak Prasad Acharya is a prominent Nepali film and television artist whose career spans acting, writing, and direction. He first became widely recognized through the hit Nepali sitcom Sakkigoni, where he played the beloved character “Kaku”, establishing himself as a natural comic actor with strong emotional range. Building on his television success, Acharya transitioned into filmmaking, writing stories rooted in Nepali family life, social values, and emotional realism. His breakthrough as a filmmaker came with Paran (2025) a social‑drama film that marked his directorial debut, written by him and produced under Biscope Cinema. Ujwal Ghimire is a veteran Nepali film and television director, producer, writer, and actor whose career spans more than four decades and has significantly shaped mainstream Nepali cinema. Beginning in theatre and early Nepal Television programs, he rose to prominence with acclaimed films such as Kismat, Chhodi Gaye Paap Lagla, Andaj, and Woda No. 6. Shivam Adhikari is a prominent Nepali screenwriter, director, and dialogue writer active in the film industry since the early 2000s. Credited across more than 60 films as story, screenplay, and dialogue writer—and at times as director, lyricist, and cast member—he has worked on titles such as Meri Aama (2004), Swabhiman (2010), Sanglo (2019), Kopila (2020), and the recent Pariwartan (2026). His writing has earned multiple major award nominations, including for Panchayat and Parai, establishing him as one of contemporary Nepali cinema’s key narrative architects.

Hira Singh Khatri is regarded as one of the earliest architects of Nepali cinema, best known for directing Aama (1964), the first Nepali feature film produced in Nepal under the Royal Nepal Film Corporation. His work marked the formal beginning of Nepal’s national film industry, establishing narrative, technical, and production standards for future filmmakers. Khatri later directed Hijo Aaja Bholi (1967), further strengthening the foundation of Nepali storytelling on screen. His films emphasized patriotism, social values, and emotional realism, influencing a generation of emerging directors.
