Purushottam Pradhan is a well known cinematographer with more than 200 Nepali movies credit. He is from the beautiful Himalayan country of Kathmandu Nepal. Currently he lives in Kathmandu Nepal.He was born in 27th June. He won National Nepali Film Award in 2016.

Sanjay Lama (Sanjay Lopchan Tamang) is the well known cinematographer in Nepali Film. Lama was born on 27 August 1977 in Lalitpur Nepal. Lama is the best cinematographer of Nepali film. He has been the recipient of 15 best cinematographer Awards Including three National Film Awards, two NFDC National Film Awards, NEFTA Film Awards, Kamana Film Awards, Inas Film Awards, Global Nepali Film Awards, Box Office Film Awards, FAAN Awards and LG Film Awards. After working on various technical roles for a long time, Lama has debuted as a cinematographer in the movie Kasle Choryo Mero Man in 2000. Since then, he has been successful in various movies like Bato Muniko Phool, Sayaad, A Mero Hajur 3, Moun, Dreams, Summer Love, Masan etc.

Gopal Raya Chhetri is a Nepali cinematographer and camera operator known for his work on the feature film Sarang (2025) and the crime‑drama series Crime Files (2021–2022), where he served as Director of Photography across eight episodes. His work reflects a grounded visual style, focusing on clean framing and narrative‑driven camera movement.Active in Nepal’s evolving digital‑cinema space, Raya has contributed to both long‑form and episodic storytelling, building a reputation for reliability in camera and lighting execution. Nisal Poudel is a Nepali cinematographer and Director of Photography active since 2023, known for his visual work in the feature films Kausid (2023) and Kalli. A graduate of Oscar International College (8th Batch), he represents the new generation of Nepali DOPs trained in modern film theory, visual language, and narrative‑driven cinematography.His work emphasizes naturalistic lighting, grounded realism, and character‑focused framing, bringing emotional depth to rural and contemporary Nepali stories. With a growing portfolio and collaborations on emerging Nepali films, Poudel is steadily establishing himself as one of the promising young cinematographers shaping Nepal’s evolving visual style.
