Maharajadhiraj is an upcoming Nepali film featuring actor Pushpa Khadka in the lead role, officially announced on the occasion of the Nepali New Year 2083. The production team unveiled a special poster presenting Khadka in two contrasting avatars—one as a powerful king adorned with royal attire, crown, and scepter, and the other as a weakened, vulnerable figure seated in distress. The dual imagery hints at a layered narrative blending thriller elements with period‑drama sensibilities. Directed by Sen, the film is described as his dream project and will feature a large ensemble cast of nearly 80 actors, including Neer Shah, Aryan Sigdel, Ramesh Upreti, and Barsha Raut. Principal photography begins in the second week of Baisakh, with a nationwide release planned for Phulpati during the upcoming Dashain festival.
