Born in Madi, Rambeni Sankhuwasava on July 29, 1966, Yogendra Mani Dahal discovered his love for music early on. Since 2001, he has been writing lyrics, releasing albums like Akshyar (2004), Players (2006), So Far (2008), and Yatra (2009), with his latest work, Smriti, on the way. Influenced by legendary lyricists Ratna Shamser Thapa, Kali Prasad Rijal, and Dinesh Adhikari, his journey started with Deepesh Kishor Bhattarai’s album FOREVER, where his first lyrics were featured. He remains deeply thankful to Deep Shrestha, Raju Singh, Deepesh Kishor Bhattarai, Sanjeev Singh, and Saroj Dutta for their unwavering support.
For Yogendra, music isn’t just entertainment—it’s a reflection of life, emotions, and culture. He hopes future generations will treasure and preserve the artistry within lyrics and songs.
