Yatiraj Adhikari is a respected Nepali violinist, music educator, and classical performer from Dang, Nepal. He serves as a Lecturer at Sirjana College of Fine Arts and an Assistant Professor of Music at Lalit Kala Campus, Nepal’s premier fine arts institution. With a deep foundation in Hindustani classical music, Yatiraj is known for his soulful violin renditions of ragas such as Bihag and Bageshree, often performed in both solo and collaborative settings.
He is also a core member of Sampada (The Heritage) Band, a group dedicated to preserving and innovating traditional Nepali music. His performances—featured on platforms like Aashram Music and in international venues such as Frankfurt—highlight his technical finesse and emotional depth.
Beyond performance, Yatiraj is committed to nurturing the next generation of musicians through teaching, workshops, and cultural research, making him a vital force in Nepal’s evolving musical heritage.
