Sunita Dulal is a well-known Nepalese folk singer, born on November 28, 1985, in Jalbire, Nepal. She has been active in the music industry since 2009, performing traditional Nepali folk songs, festive tunes, and modern compositions. Over the years, she has released multiple albums, including "Mero Hajur" and "Nachau Sarara", which feature popular Teej festival songs. Apart from singing, Sunita Dulal is also involved in acting, television presenting, and modeling. She has traveled extensively, performing across the United States, Europe, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and several Middle Eastern countries.

Buddhi Bahadur Pariyar was a gifted Nepali folk composer whose song “Resham Firiri” became a cultural anthem. Born in Pokhara, Pariyar grew up immersed in the rhythms of village life. In 1972, he composed “Resham Firiri Resham Firiri”, inspired by the hills and daily joys of Nepali people. The song was recorded in 1974 by Sunder Shrestha and Dwarika Lal Joshi, and quickly gained national fame. Its catchy tune and relatable lyrics made it a favorite among street performers, travelers, and diaspora communities. Despite its popularity, Pariyar remained largely uncredited, highlighting the struggles of folk creators in Nepal’s music industry. Nabin Dhungel is a well-known name in the field of Nepali folk songs. He has recorded almost 50 songs on Radio Nepal, and many of his songs have become popular among folk music lovers. Nabin Dhungel became the first in the national folk song competition in 2038 B.S. The song he sang for the first time in his life, "Kaacho Katara... Ma Janchhu Rangkhola Roka Motara," is still popular among folk lovers. Dil Maya Khati was a beloved Nepali singer known as the “Melody Moon” of the Himalayas. Born in 1999 BS in Ghumpahad, Darjeeling, she began singing at age five and quickly captivated audiences across Nepal, Sikkim, and Bhutan. Her golden voice earned admiration from legends like Raj Kapoor and Narayan Gopal. In 2018 BS, she debuted on Radio Nepal and won a gold medal in a national music competition. Though she recorded only 12 songs between 2018 and 2030 BS, her impact was profound. After a long hiatus, she made a triumphant return in 2056 BS with the album Shikha. Honored with numerous awards, including the Devkota Samman and Bhupal Sangeet Puraskar, she was celebrated for her emotional depth and vocal purity. Her legacy continues to inspire generations of Nepali music lovers.
