Mallika Karki is one of the famous singers of the country. Originally from a remote village in Morang, she made this far despite a limited opportunity. She has done duet with several national and international artist including Udit Narayan Jha, Kumar Sanu, Ramkrishna Dhakal and Kumar Kancha. She started her singing career in 2064 BS with the duo song with Udit Narayan Jha titled ‘Laaj ko Lali’. She is known for her hits like ‘Yeti Dherai Manche Haru Ko Bhid Maa’, ‘Timile Nasamjhida Maya’, Aakhai Ma Rakhu Ki’ and ‘Kasari Kasari Aayou’. Her melodious voice entitled her to prestigious awards like Kalika Music Award, Sagarmatha Music Award, Music Khabar Music Award and Bindabasini Music Award.

Bimochana Lomjel is a rising voice in Nepali music, carrying forward the rich artistic legacy of her parents—composer Chandan Lomjel and singer Daisy Baraili. Born and raised in Darjeeling, Bimochana first captured national attention as a standout contestant on The Voice of Nepal Season 2, where her classical finesse and emotional depth set her apart. She debuted with the song “Timi” and has since released tracks like “Charke Najarle”, “Laijaw”, and “Maya Baiguni”. Her performances in the Paleti music series—especially renditions of “Lekheko Thiye Chithi” and “Kataa Kataa Bataasamaa”—highlight her poetic sensibility and vocal maturity. The Axe Band is a well-known rock band from Nepal. Let me share some information about them: Formation and Members: The Axe Band was formed in 1992 and officially established in 1993. Laboni Chakraborty is a talented Nepali classical singer originally from Kolkata, India. She has made a significant impact on Nepal’s contemporary classical music scene, captivating audiences with her soulful renditions. She is also a judge on the Mero Voice Universe talent show.  Early Life & Education Laboni Chakraborty grew up in a musical family, where her father and relatives were singers. She began learning music at the age of five under the guidance of Baishali Juardhar. Later, she trained under Ajoy Chakrabarty, a renowned Hindustani classical vocalist, for ten years. She pursued her academic degree in music at Rabindra Bharati University, where she was a gold medalist in her master’s program. Career & Contributions Despite her strong musical foundation in India, Laboni Chakraborty chose to work in Nepal, where she has become one of the most respected classical singers. She teaches music at Lalit Kala Campus, Tribhuvan University, and runs her own music school, Raagrup, where she mentors aspiring musicians. She has performed in various prestigious events, including the Yalamaya Classic, where her rendition of Vilambit and Madhya Khayal in Raag Todi received a standing ovation.
