Surendra Shrestha

Ajar Jangam (अजर जंगम ) is a music based artist who started his musical career since 2004. He is a trained (Eastern Classical) singer who's acts includes genres like Adhunik (modern), Ghazal, Classical, Pop, Slow Rock as well as contemporary. He is also an academic musicologist who was a Gold medalist in 2005-06 (6th  year/Bachelors) from Kalanidhi Sangeet Mahavidhyalaya (Affiliated to Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, India). He completed his Masters Degree in Music from Tribhuvan University in year 2013. Currently he is doing his Ph.D in Music from Tribhuvan University. Apart from music, he is also a former athlete (Gymnast), who competed in National as well as International Games. Pawan Golay, widely known by his stage name Gole, is a modern–folk vocalist from Darjeeling known for his melodious voice and emotional delivery. He began his musical journey performing in local community events and small stages, where his natural vocal sweetness quickly drew attention. Rooted in Darjeeling’s rich musical culture, he developed a style defined by simplicity, clarity, and heartfelt expression. His songs such as Yati Thulo, Manlai Samjhai Samjhai, Hawa Sanga, Mirmire Behana, and Chhadi Jane Mayaluko earned him recognition across Darjeeling and Nepal. Gole continues to represent Darjeeling’s musical identity in contemporary Nepali music.

The year 2004 introduced Moment of Bliss, the album that included the song Phul ko Akhaan Maa, which brought Ani Choying Drolma much acclaim. The song, written by Durga Lal Shrestha and composed by Nhyoo Bajracharya, went on to be one of the most played songs on media and one would be hard-pressed to find anybody in Kathmandu who hadn’t heard the tune. The song broke the monotony of the then popular music with its melody and easy flowing instrumentation and Ani’s soothing, almost meditative vocals. Although largely unrecognised by the public, Gopal Rasaily, the arranger of the song, also managed to gather appreciation for his work from others in the business; it represented a breakthrough for him in the Nepali music industry. Rasaily, who is also the in-house arranger at the Do Re Mi studio.

Bhupendra Bajracharya is the lead guitarist for the band Mongolian Heart, a popular Nepali Lok folk, pop, and slow rock band. The band debuted in 1992 and has received several awards in Nepal.He is also a skilled music arranger. . Bhupendra studied at Patan Multiple Campus and lives in Lalitpur, Nepal . Mongolian Heart is known for its fusion of traditional folk and pop music, and they have performed all over the world, including in America, Australia, Hong Kong, Dubai, and South Korea . The band has also been involved in philanthropic activities, especially after the 2015 earthquake in Nepal
