Shambhujeet Baskota (born 15 March 1957, Nepal) is one of the most prolific and influential music composers in Nepali cinema. Active since 1971, he has shaped the sound of modern Nepali film and pop music through his melodic style, emotional depth, and versatility. He has composed music for over 355 Nepali feature films and created more than 2,000 modern songs, folk songs, and bhajans, making him a defining figure in the industry. He is also credited as the director of Nepal’s first music video, Mayalu Timi Tadha (1985), sung by actor Bhuwan KC.Beyond music, he has contributed to social causes, including anti‑drug programs for children.    

Born in february 5, 1988. Bred in Kathmandu Valley. Started performing at the age of 5. After ending up as the second runner up in national level broadcasted singing competition 'Nepal Star - 2005' at the age of 16 ; continued music studies in Kathmandu University later in affiliation with SOAS ( University of London ). Currently studying Masters in music. Field of expertise in occidental and oriental music in general. Which includes Music - research, business, analysis; musicology, singing-song writing, composing, arranging & production ( contemporary styles, orchestration, background scoring, vocal designing ). Uday Sotang is a well-known Nepali musician. He has written and composed numerous songs, and sung many of them himself. Most of his songs have been rendered by his wife Manila Sotang. Uday Sotang is originally from Tukvar, near Darjeeling, India. He moved to Kathmandu to pursue his musical career in 1988. Uday Sotang is married to Manila Sotang who is a Nepali singer. Their daughter Shreya Sotang is an popular singer who has already released an album. With more than 200 songs to his credit, Uday Sotang is considered to be one of the popular and successful Nepali musicians. He is based in Kathmandu, Nepal. The husband-wife duo of Uday and Manila have produced more than 10 music albums.

Surath Pradhan is a Nepali music producer, arranger, programmer, and recording/mixing engineer known for his extensive work across modern Nepali music. His credits span folk, adhunik, romantic, and contemporary fusion songs, collaborating with leading singers, composers, and studios.He is a core music arranger and engineer at Sur Sangam Recording Studio, where he has contributed to numerous high‑profile projects. His work includes music arrangements, programming, recording, and mixing for songs by artists such as Udaya Sotang, Arpana Acharya, Mukunda Paudel, Dhan Kiran Gurung, Shanti Thatal, Ramita Bhandari, and others.Surath has arranged and engineered music for multiple official releases, including romantic, folk, and Newari songs, and has been credited in studio sessions featuring instruments like violin, flute, guitar, and modern digital production. His arrangements appear in projects such as “Mayale Ruwauchha,” “Yeti Dherai Maya,” and various duet collections by Dhan Kiran Gurung.He is also credited as a composer on major Nepali music platforms, with works featured on Gaana’s catalog of Nepali songs.Through consistent studio output, refined arrangement skills, and collaborations with respected musicians, Surath Pradhan has established himself as a reliable and versatile music producer in Nepal’s contemporary music industry.
