Active since the 1950s, he has devoted his life to musical practice and has directed music for hundreds of songs across folk, modern, and classical genres. His early works such as Premko Geet, Sapana, and Maya established his artistic identity. His compositions explore themes of love, life, society, nature, spirituality, and patriotism, enriched with deep emotional FEELING and AURA. As a mentor and inspiration to younger generations, Chhetri has played a vital role in expanding Nepali music at both national and international levels.

Tilak Singh Pela is a revered name in Nepali classical and modern music, known for his soulful voice, deep-rooted classical training, and dedication to nurturing future generations of musicians. Born in Dashrathchand Municipality, Baitadi, in the Sudurpaschim Province of Nepal, Pela has spent over two decades enriching the Nepali music scene with his artistry and mentorship. Classical Music Journey Studied Indian classical music at Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, India. Trained under Guru Debashish Dev and Pandit Dhana Bahadur Gopali. Founded Shree Krishna Gurukul Sangeet Pathshala in Banasthali, Kathmandu. As a music instructor and founder, he has mentored numerous young talents who now contribute actively to Nepali music. Renowned Nepali songwriter and lyricist, singer, musician NB Dahal (Nar Bahadur Dahal) has made significant contributions to Nepali music in various genres. More than 60 songs of N. B. Dahal are public, some are sung by him and some are in the role of composer or lyricist. He has collaborated with a dozen famous artists.

Shanti Thatal (शान्ति ठटाल) is a renowned Nepali music composer and singer known for her contributions to the Nepali film industry. Born on April 4, 1938, in Darjeeling, India, she is celebrated as the first female music composer in the Nepali film industry. Shanti Thatal has composed music for several Nepali films and has more than 200 songs to her credit. Some of her well-known songs include "Mayalu Ley Samjhe Ki Kaso", "Udi Jaun Bhaney Mo Panchi Hoina", and "Samhalera Rakha". Shanti Thatal's work has earned her numerous accolades, including the Jagadamba Shree Puraskar in 2020 for her contribution to Nepali music. She has also been awarded the Master Mitra Sen Smriti Award for Music by the Sikkim government in 2002.
