Neer Bikram Shah, also known as Nir Shah, is a Nepalese movie actor, a poet, lyricist, movie director,media personality and businessman. He is related to the Royal family of Nepal. Neer Shah is the producer or co-producer of many Nepali movies. He has also directed several Nepali movies produced by himself, including Basudev, Pachchis Basanta, Basanti, and a Nepal Bhasa movie Rajamati. He is also a co-producer of the Oscar nominated film Himalaya – l’enfance d’un chef, which was co-produced and directed by the French movie maker Eric Valli. The film, also released as Caravan (in Canada) and Himalaya (in Denmark and France), was the first film from Nepal to win an Oscar nomination.

Nischal Basnet is a celebrated Nepali director, actor, writer, and playback singer known for revolutionizing modern Nepali cinema. Born on January 17, 1980, in Birtamod, Jhapa, he studied film at Oscar International College. His directorial debut Loot (2012) became a cult hit, followed by acclaimed films like Talakjung vs Tulke (2014) and Loot 2 (2017). As an actor, he starred in Kabaddi Kabaddi, Dui Rupaiyan, and Prasad. Known for blending realism, dark humor, and social commentary, Basnet is married to actress Swastima Khadka. His work continues to shape the narrative and technical evolution of Nepali cinema.

Alok Nembang (June 9, 1973 – November 6, 2014) was one of Nepal’s most influential film and music‑video directors, celebrated for shaping the visual language of modern Nepali pop culture. Beginning his career as a VJ and model, he went on to direct over 600 music videos, introducing cinematic style, fresh aesthetics, and youth‑driven storytelling. Nembang made his feature‑film debut with the hit romantic drama Sano Sansar (2008), followed by Kohi Mero (2010). Known for his creativity, discipline, and trend‑setting vision, he remains a defining figure in Nepal’s contemporary visual and musical landscape.

Upendra Subba (born 26 September 1971, Angsarang, Panchthar) is a leading Nepali poet, lyricist, writer, and filmmaker, widely respected for his role in shaping modern Nepali literature and cinema. A co‑founder of the influential literary movement Srijanshil Arajakta (Creative Anarchy) with Rajan Mukarung and Hangyug Agyat, Subba’s work blends Limbu cultural identity with contemporary social themes.His acclaimed literary contributions include poetry collections such as Dada Mathi Ko Gham Jun Ra Gadtirka Raake Bhut Haru (2002), Hongrayo Bhog Ra Pangra (2004), Kholako Gita Ra Purana Kavitaharu (2013), and the celebrated short‑story collection Lato Pahad (2014), which later inspired the film Keba Kokma.In cinema, Subba is known for his long collaboration with director Ram Babu Gurung, contributing to hit films including Kabaddi, Kabaddi Kabaddi, and Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi. He made his directorial debut with Jaari (2023), earning multiple national awards for screenplay, story, and direction. His recent works include Mansarra (2024) and Jaari 2 (2025).He has received major honors including the Padmashree Sahitya Puraskar for Lato Pahad and multiple national film awards for writing and dialogue.
