Born in Rolpa, Nepal, in 1989, she overcame a challenging childhood and pursued her dream of becoming a singer from an early age.At the age of sixteen, she moved to Kathmandu to build her musical career and spent several years performing in various Dohori establishments. To strengthen her musical foundation, she received formal vocal training under Guru Chandan Kumar Shrestha at Gandarbha Kala Kendra and successfully passed Radio Nepal's vocal examination in 2009.Shanti Shree began her professional recording career with the album Ghar Chha Tin Tale in 2011.
