Asta Lama is a Nepali music composer known for his contribution to modern Nepali music and film soundtracks. He has established himself as a creative force in composition, blending contemporary musical elements with Nepali melodies.He is the Chairman of the Music Composers Association Nepal, playing a significant role in promoting and supporting music composers across the country.As a composer, Asta Lama has worked on various musical projects, including songs like “Ramri Pani Bhaki Chhu” from the film Dulahi, showcasing his ability to create emotionally engaging and commercially appealing music.Beyond composition, he is actively involved in strengthening Nepal’s music industry through leadership, collaboration, and advocacy for composers. His work reflects a commitment to evolving Nepali music while preserving its artistic identity.

I am Shikhar Santosh, music Composer of Indian and Nepalese Music industry  since past 13 Years. I have done 4years of Hindustani Classical music in India from Bharatiya vidhya Bhawan. Also learnt music under Suresh Wadkar ji from Ajiwaasan Music School.  I have done 16 Hindi Movies, 30 Regional movies like Gujarati, Bhojpuri, Panjabi, Hariyanbi and Marathi. My Hindi movie "Musa The Most wanted" is released under Top record Level,T-series. I have also worked with Jatin-Lalit for a movie called "The Flag" which is on the way to be released and also" Koila mafia"," Thodi masti- Thoda Pyaar" are my upcoming projects. Also, movie "Siyasaat the politics" has already  been released. Singers like Lata Mangeskar, Asha Bhosle, Abhijeet ,Sonu Nigam, Kailash Kher, Udit Narayan Jha, Alka Yagnik,Sunidhi Chauhan..etc. have given voice to my compose. It's been a great privilege and funfilled experience being a composer and I hope there's lots more to come.

Dibya Khaling (March 28, 1952 (15 Jestha 2009 BS)) is a famous Nepali musician, composer and lyricist. Dibya Khaaling has rendered music for about 1000 songs, including the famous “Mero geet sabai timi laai..” sung by Arun Thapa , Ma Ta Laligurans Bhayechhu, Hey Bir Hinda Aghi Sari, Preyasika Yaadharu, Mayako Aadharma, and Bipana Babhaye Bachidine, and music for plays and films (Nepali film Didi by Pratap Subba). Khaling moved to Nepal from Darjeeling in the 1960s and worked with Radio Nepal. He composed music for singers like Narayan Gopal, Arun Thapa, Gyanu Rana, Mira Rana etc. A book “Dibya Sangeetkaar, Dibya Khaaling” has been written by his friends and family members, such as poet Madhav Prasad Ghimire and musicians Kiran Pradhan and Bulu Mukarung in his memory. He was married to Grace Khaaling. He is survived by three sons (Prajaya, Pradesh, Pratibimba), one daughter (Pratigya), two granddaughters (Divyanah Grace and Aanyata Parisa) and two grandsons (Noah and Deedan Daniel). Dibya was suffering from heart problems and died on 25 June 2006.
