She was the first Nepali folk artist to be signed by Music Nepal and remains the only Grade A folk singer with All India Radio. Her timeless songs like “Phariya Lyaaidiyechan” and “Ramri Ta Ramri” continue to resonate across generations. After her passing in 2011, her children Navneet and Satya Aditya Waiba revived her legacy through the tribute project Ama Lai Shraddhanjali. Yama Buddha, whose real name was Anil Adhikari, was a renowned Nepalese rapper and songwriter. He was born on May 30, 1987, in Dhankuta, Nepal, and tragically passed away on January 14, 2017, in London, UK. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in Nepalese hip-hop, often referred to as the "King of Nephop".
