Ganesh Pariyar (1945 – 18 January 2021) was Nepal’s first music arranger, a pioneering composer, singer, and multi‑instrumentalist whose work laid the foundation of modern Nepali studio music. Beginning as a contractual instrumentalist at Radio Nepal in 2019 BS, he became a permanent musician in 2024 BS, introducing structured music arrangement to Nepali broadcasting for the first time.Before entering full‑time music, Pariyar served in the Nepal Army, rising to the rank of Havildar before resigning to pursue music professionally. A skilled violinist, saxophonist, guitarist, and folk instrumentalist, he played a central role in shaping the orchestral sound of early Nepali recordings.Across more than two decades at Radio Nepal, he contributed as an arranger, composer, vocalist, instrumentalist, and collector of lyrics and melodies. His disciplined musicianship and technical mastery helped elevate the quality of Nepali studio productions during a formative era.In 2050 BS, he joined Music Nepal as a Music Director and Arranger, influencing commercial music production and supporting countless singers and composers. His legacy remains foundational in the evolution of Nepali music arrangement.

Ajit Ghising Tamang was born on February 14 in Thulopakhar-1, Sindhupalchowk, as the eldest son of Dil Bdr. Tamang and Pancha Maya Tamang. Raised in a middle-class family, he has one brother and two sisters. Growing up, Ajit was shy and reserved, especially around girls, but he gradually became more open and confident as he progressed through his education. He completed his schooling up to grade 10 at Shree Kakaling School in Sindhupalchowk. Later, he moved to Kathmandu, where he pursued his +2 and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Ratna Rajya College. Initially, he had no aspirations to become a singer; his interest in music developed during his college years. Encouraged by friends, he began singing and took music classes at institutions like Kirateshwor, Sadhana Kala Kendra, and Jana Sanskriti Manch. He expresses deep gratitude to his teachers, including Madhu Gurung, Bishnu Lama, and Prakash Gurung, for their support and encouragement. Ajit's musical journey began with recording a song on a whim, which led to his first album, "Path", released in 2063 BS (2006 AD). He followed it up with "Dahar" in 2065 BS (2008 AD) and later "Taali". Over the years, he has recorded over 95 songs, showcasing his versatility as a singer, composer, and music arranger.

Dr. Achyutram Bhandari is one of Nepal's leading tabla maestros, music educators, and authors, with over 55 years of dedication to Hindustani classical music. Born on 15 Asar 2016 B.S. (29 June 1959) in Gokarna, Kathmandu, he developed a passion for music from an early age in a family with a rich musical tradition. At the age of seven, his father arranged formal music lessons, introducing him to tabla, harmonium, and vocal music, which laid the foundation for his lifelong musical journey.He received advanced musical training in Varanasi (Banaras), India, before returning to Nepal to dedicate his career to performance, teaching, and research. Throughout his professional life, he has served prestigious institutions including the National Theatre (Rastriya Nachghar), Cultural Corporation, Nepal Academy, Hotel de l'Annapurna, Srijana College of Fine Arts, Nepal Music School, and Lalitkala Campus, Tribhuvan University, where he retired as an Associate Professor. His efforts were instrumental in introducing Tabla as a major subject at Tribhuvan University.An internationally acclaimed tabla artist, Dr. Bhandari has performed and conducted workshops across Asia, Europe, and North America. He has taught thousands of students from Nepal and abroad and authored more than 20 books on tabla, harmonium, madal, and music education, making a lasting contribution to Nepal's classical music literature.To make classical music accessible to everyone, he founded the Achyutram Bhandari Sangit Pratishthan (ARBM Academy), a non-profit organization dedicated to music education, scholarships, monthly classical music concerts, and free training for economically disadvantaged students. His lifelong commitment to preserving and promoting Nepali classical music has earned him numerous national and international honors.
