Kamali Kanta Bhetuwal is a renowned Nepali folk singer, lyricist, and composer celebrated for his evergreen contribution to lok‑geet and traditional village‑style melodies. Best known for the iconic classic “Jhamke Guleli”—which he wrote, composed, and performed—Bhetuwal has produced multiple acclaimed albums under the Jhamke Guleli series, including Parts 1, 2, 3, and 4, all released through Music Nepal. His catalog features long‑form narrative folk songs such as “Jhim Jhim Pareli,” “Khorunga Shirma,” “Himal Takuri,” and “Rani Rumalma.” His distinctive vocal texture and poetic writing have made him a defining figure in Nepal’s modern folk heritage.

Narayan Rayamajhi is a leading Nepali folk singer, composer, lyricist, scriptwriter, film director, and producer known for his deep contribution to Nepali lok‑geet and cinema. Active since 1985, he has written more than 14 dozen folk songs, 6 dozen modern songs, multiple musical plays, documentaries, and television songs. As a filmmaker, he directed the successful feature films Gorkha Paltan, Pardeshi, and Pardeshi 2, establishing himself as a major creative force in Nepali cinema. Rayamajhi also heads Reema Music and Reema Films, producing music, films, and cultural projects that preserve and promote Nepal’s folk heritage.

Tulasi Parajuli was born on June 23, 1972, in Dadha Bazaar, Dhankuta, Nepal, to Makar Nanda Parajuli and Tika Devi Parajuli. As the eldest son, he spent his childhood in Dhankuta, where his mischievous nature often led him to skip classes in favor of attending cultural programs. His academic journey took him from Bhanu Secondary School for his SLC, to Dharan for his Intermediate certificates, and finally to Patan Campus, where he earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nepali at R R College, Kathmandu. Entry into the Music Scene Parajuli’s passion for music was ignited by listening to songs on Radio Nepal, inspiring him to emulate the singers he admired. His enthusiasm for cultural events grew stronger when he moved to Dharan for further studies, leading him to participate more actively in musical programs. He eventually formed the band Jhankar, performing across major towns in Eastern Nepal. Work and Contributions Parajuli continues to be an influential figure in Nepali folk music. In 2024, he released a new song, "Musukkai Hasi", which has been well received. He also performed a solo evening featuring over a dozen songs in support of cancer and kidney patients, blending music with philanthropy. Beyond Music Apart from his musical career, Parajuli is dedicated to education. He serves as a Nepali teacher at Nobel Academy and teaches music at Nobel, Preston, and Annapurna College. He also manages Sangeet Sadhana Private Limited, a music school he founded to foster a strong learning environment for aspiring musicians. Additionally, he has been involved in hosting 'Lok Bhaka', a program for a UK-based Nepali television channel. Tulasi Parajuli remains a respected name in Nepali music, continuously evolving while staying true to his folk roots. His journey is a testament to perseverance, passion, and the power of music to inspire and uplift.

​Baba Rana (बाबा राणा) is a distinguished Nepali singer renowned for her melodious voice and significant contributions to Nepali music. Born in Palpa, Nepal, she moved to Pokhara at the age of one and was raised in a musically inclined family. Her father, Colonel Dhan Bikram Rana, and her uncles were instrumental in nurturing her musical talents. She began singing at the age of nine and recorded her first song, "Dam Dam Damphu Bajeko Talai Ma," in 1971 (BS 2028) for Radio Nepal. Throughout her career, Baba Rana has recorded over 2,000 songs across various genres, including folk, modern, devotional, opera, film, and ghazals. Her notable songs include:​ "Karodau Mutuharuko Eutai Dhukdhuki Nepal" "Saaiko Ghar Kaha Ho Kaha" "Birsijane Nisturi" "He Aama Janmayau Kina" "Chautarima Ma Base Holaki"​ In recognition of her contributions, she received the "Famous Class Singer" title from Radio Nepal in 2055 BS and has been honored with awards such as the Prabal Gorkha Dakshin Bahu IV and the Indra Rajya Laxmi Puraskar. Baba Rana's dedication to music continues as she resides in Pokhara with her family, engaging in musical pursuits and honoring the legacy of her late husband, singer Saroj Gopal Bajracharya. ​
