Before entering cinema, he served in the British Army and even participated in World War II. Fondly known as “Nepali Tarzan,” “Nepali Babu,” and “Dancer,” he remained admired for his unique persona and dance skills. Thapa passed away on 13 June 2018 at the age of 92, leaving behind a memorable legacy in Nepali entertainment.
