Ranjana Bhattarai is a Nepali theatre artist and film actress active in contemporary Kathmandu theatre and South Asian cinema. On stage, she has worked with groups like Katha Ghera and Kausi Theatre, performing in acclaimed productions such as “Wedding Album” (as bride Bidushi Koirala) and “Play the System” (as Namita), where she portrays complex, modern Nepali women navigating family and workplace pressures.On screen, Bhattarai appears in the Nepali‑language Indian film “Harry Ki Pyari” (2023) in the role of Urmila, and in the TV mini‑series “A Glass of Happiness” (2021), where she is credited both as an actress (Pari) and as part of the costume/wardrobe team (stylist). This dual presence in performance and behind‑the‑scenes work reflects her broader craft as a theatre‑trained artist who understands character, costume, and visual storytelling.

Jayanendra Chand Thakuri (1942–2020) was a prolific Nepali film actor whose career helped shape the foundation of modern Nepali cinema. A former Indian Army serviceman and Jawalakhel Youth Club cricketer, he entered films with Jeevan Rekha (1982) and went on to appear in over 100 films, becoming one of the most recognizable character actors of his era. Known for his grounded performances in social dramas, romantic stories, and action narratives, he brought emotional weight and authenticity to every role. His notable works include Kanchhi, Bishwas, Maya Preeti, Pheri Bhetaula, Angarakshyak, and Parkhi Base. He remained active until 2011 and is remembered as a respected, steady pillar of Nepali cinema.

Kul Bahadur Adhikari is a Nepali film artist known for his natural acting style and grounded character portrayal. Active in Nepali cinema for years, he has already worked in over a dozen feature films, primarily in supporting and character roles. His realistic performances, subtle expressions, and ability to embody everyday Nepali characters have earned him appreciation from audiences and filmmakers alike. Adhikari continues to contribute depth, authenticity, and emotional clarity to contemporary Nepali storytelling.
