Praku Pandey is a Nepali film director, writer, and visual storyteller active in the Nepali film industry since 2013. He began his career as an associate director and writer, contributing to narrative development and on‑set creative execution across multiple projects before transitioning into full‑fledged direction.He made his directorial debut with the rural‑romance feature Malati Mangale, a film he also wrote, produced by singer‑actor Ram Krishna Dhakal.

He made his directorial debut with Jaari (2023), earning multiple national awards for screenplay, story, and direction.
