Have sung nearly 1000 songs of different genre, be it folk, gazal, pop or adhunik. Stood first in the Modern Song Competition organised by Radio Nepal in 2057. Have performed in numerous stage programs. And have released 4 solo albums.They are Lahar, Bulbul,Journey and Jash.

John Chamling Rai is a talented Nepali singer-songwriter from Dharan, born on November 5, 1998. He began his musical journey at age four with a guitar gifted by his father, and honed his skills through church choirs and acoustic covers of artists like Tribal Rain, Sajjan Raj Vaidya, and Neetesh Jung Kunwar. His debut single “Prasna” (2020) marked the start of a prolific career, followed by viral hits like “Sadhana,” “Hawa Jastai,” and “Samaya Ley.” John studied corporate finance at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and now leads the band John and The Local, blending folk, pop, and introspective lyricism. His music often explores themes of longing, identity, and emotional vulnerability, resonating deeply with Nepali youth. With millions of views and a growing global fanbase, John Chamling Rai continues to redefine modern Nepali music through authenticity and heartfelt storytelling.    

Praveen Gurung (लोक गायक स्वः प्रविण गुरुङ) was a talented Nepali Lok Dohori singer known for his soulful voice, powerful stage presence, and deep connection to folk culture. He dedicated his musical journey to preserving and promoting authentic Nepali lok geet, earning respect from audiences across the country. His songs often reflected themes of love, struggle, rural life, and cultural identity, making him a beloved figure in the folk community. Praveen’s popular songs include “Jhyamma Jhyamma,” “Sali Ramro Pareki,” “Badhyau Ki Maya,” “Aankha Ko Nindra,” “Kanchi Hou Kanchi,” and “Tadha Tadha,” which helped him gain wide recognition and admiration. Nishan Bhattarai (Nepali: निशान भट्टराई) (born June 12, 1996) is one of three finalists due to compete in the 'Nepal Idol' grand finale in Qatar on Sept 22. Nishan is a Nepali singer and a recent singing star who has become popular from a reality television singing competition Nepal Idol. He prominently sings in Nepali and Hindi languages. The Nepal Idol show, where he is one of the top three contestant is hosted by AP1 Television and it is part of the Idols franchise created by Simon Fuller. He is from the eastern part of Nepal. He was born and raised in a small town of Urlabari of Morang district. His father name is Nityananda Bhattarai and mother's name is Renuka Bhattarai. Currently, he is living in Kathmandu. At the age of 20, he became one of the top three contestants of Nepal Idol . He was also one of the top Five contestants of Singing Icon Nepal which was a reality singing competition organized by Nepal Television.
