N.B. Maharjan is a senior Nepali action director, actor, and filmmaker active since the late 1985s, credited in more than 120 films and recognized as one of the most consistent action stylists of modern Nepali cinema. Beginning his career around 1987–1989, he has contributed as an action director, assistant director, director, and actor, shaping action choreography across multiple eras. His filmography includes major titles such as Maya’s Bar, Jaya Parshuram, Fulai Fulko Mausam Timilai, Kina Kina, Bazar, Prahar, Daiko Sasurali, and Soch, reflecting a long, influential presence in the industry.

Surendra Shah is a veteran Nepali action director and filmmaker whose career spans more than two decades, contributing to some of Nepal’s most notable commercial action films. His work covers a wide range of roles including action direction, choreography, story writing, production management, music direction, and film direction, making him one of the most multi‑disciplinary technicians in the industry.He has served as action director in major films such as Ranabhumi (2009), The Commando (2007), Karan Arjun (2005), Chahanchu Ma Timilai Nai (2001), Majdoor (2000), Chalchitra (2000), Kancha (1999), Agni Pariksha (1997), Gunyo Cholo (1997), and Bhariya (1996).Beyond action design, he has directed and written films including Karan Arjun (2005) and Thule (2003), and contributed to multiple departments in Mutu (2014) and Thooli (2014).

Rajendra Khadki is a noted Nepali actor and action director recognized for his influential contribution to commercial action cinema from the 1990s onward. Known for his disciplined stunt craft and energetic screen presence, he helped define the action style of his era through collaborations with leading stars and directors. Khadki worked both in front of the camera and behind it, choreographing memorable fight sequences that shaped mainstream Nepali filmmaking. His long career reflects dedication to physical storytelling, technical precision, and the evolution of action choreography, establishing him as a respected figure in Nepali film history.  

Samrat Basnet is a prominent Nepali action director, filmmaker, and stunt specialist known for elevating the technical and visual standards of Nepali action cinema. Active since 2007, he has contributed action direction to numerous feature films, shaping sequences that blend authentic Nepali stunt tradition with modern cinematic choreography. A former international Taekwondo athlete, Basnet brings precision, discipline, and deep physical understanding to his craft, giving his action design a distinctive realism. He later expanded into filmmaking, directing projects such as Password and Lakhey, which showcased his ability to merge action with atmospheric storytelling. Recognized for his leadership, creativity, and on‑set clarity, Samrat Basnet continues to influence the next chapter of Nepali action filmmaking.
