Loonibha Tuladhar is a prominent Nepali actress and theater artist with a career spanning over two decades. She began her acting journey in 2001 with Abhi Subedi’s play “Dreams of Peach Blossoms.” Since then, she has performed in approximately three dozen plays, collaborating with renowned theater groups such as Naga Theatre, Hotel Vajra, and Shilpee Theatre.
Beyond theater, Loonibha has made significant contributions to Nepali cinema and television. She gained popularity for her roles in television shows like “Pothi Basyo” and “Pawankali,” the latter being a comedy talk-show she conceptualized. Her film appearances include “Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi” (2019) and “The Tiger’s Nest” (2022).
In addition to acting, Loonibha is actively involved in documentary filmmaking, with her works being showcased at various events, including the Indigenous Film Festival.
Her diverse talents also extend to directing, as evidenced by her participation in the play “In the Red and Brown Water” (2014).
Outside of her professional endeavors, Loonibha has a deep appreciation for cooking, especially Newari cuisine, and enjoys traveling, having explored much of Nepal and parts of India. She also has a fondness for embroidery and knitting, skills she learned during her childhood.
