Manisha Gauchan is a Nepali writer, screenwriter, novelist, playwright, researcher, and former television journalist whose work spans literature, radio drama, journalism, and cinema. Recognized for her socially conscious storytelling, she explores themes of human emotions, disability, inclusion, identity, gender, and social justice through both fiction and screenwriting.Beginning her literary journey with poetry, Gauchan has established herself as a respected voice in contemporary Nepali literature. She is the author of four published books: the poetry collection Phoolharuko Rang Chaina (2003), the novel Walliko Diary (2006), Whitecane (2014), and Prativahan (2023). Her writings are widely appreciated for their emotional depth, character-driven narratives, and realistic portrayal of marginalized communities.Beyond literature, Gauchan has worked as a television journalist at Avenues Television, a Senior Radio Playwright at Antenna Foundation Nepal, and a freelance writer and researcher. Her multidisciplinary background has enriched her storytelling, allowing her to bridge journalism, literature, and visual media while advocating for inclusive narratives and social awareness.Expanding her creative journey into cinema, Manisha Gauchan co-wrote the screenplay for the Nepali feature film Bob Dai, directed by Praveen Shrestha. The project marks one of her notable contributions to the Nepali film industry as a screenwriter, bringing her literary sensibilities to the medium of film.

Pramod Dhungana is a prolific Nepali lyricist active since 1993, credited for writing songs in more than 50 Nepali films across three decades. His work spans classic, modern, and commercial cinema, contributing lyrics to notable films such as Aama (1996), Daijo (1996), Gunyo Cholo (1997), Bandhan (1997), Chandal (1998), Army (2000), Daag (2000), Sahar (2001), Upahaar (2003), Kurukshetra (2004), Baramala (2005), Aandhi Tufan (2007), Ghatak (2008), Sargam (2011), Shasan (2011), K Ma Timro Sathi Banna Sakchu (2012), Lamphoo (2018), Kahi Katai (2018), Jhingedau (2022), and Upahaar (2024).He has also collaborated repeatedly with major Nepali music directors such as Shambhujeet Baskota, sharing credits in films like Shasan (2011), Chino (2011), Ko Aafno Ko Birano (2005), and Apaharan (Ekadeshma).Alongside lyric writing, he has occasionally worked as an actor, screenwriter, and singer, showing versatility within the Nepali film industry.

Bulu Mukarung (born 1962) is a respected Nepali musician, composer, and vocalist known for his contribution to modern Nepali music and his distinctive blend of folk‑rooted melodies with contemporary arrangements. Beginning his musical journey in the early 1980s, he gained recognition for his refined compositions, emotive vocal delivery, and his ability to elevate lyrical depth through thoughtful musical interpretation. Mukarung’s work spans studio recordings, live performances, and collaborations with leading Nepali artists, and he is noted for maintaining musical authenticity while adapting to evolving trends. Honored with the Best Musician Award at Radio Nepal’s 2041 Annual Event, he remains an influential figure whose disciplined artistry continues to inspire emerging musicians across Nepal’s modern music landscape.

Rajendra Shalabh (also credited as Rajendra Salav) is a veteran Nepali filmmaker and lyricist whose career spans cinema, literature, media, and cultural programming. Active since 1990, he has directed notable Nepali films such as Bijaya Parajaya (1990), Bhauju (1993), and Paribhasha (1994), and contributed as a lyricist and writer across multiple projects.Beyond cinema, Shalabh is recognized as a poet, cultural organizer, and media professional. He has been involved in poetry recitation programs, literary events, and audiovisual poetry projects featuring major Nepali poets. His multidisciplinary work extends into television production, education, and entertainment management, including serving as Executive Director of CG Entertainment and working as a Law Associate at Tribhuvan University.
