Early Life & Inspiration Born on September 21 in Kathmandu, Arun was raised by his late parents Sudhanidhi Tiwari and Lalita Tiwari. From a young age, he was drawn to literature and poetry. He began writing poems during his school years at Shaheed Smarak and Bijaya Smarak schools. Inspired by his uncle, the eminent poet Bhimnidhi Tiwari, Arun’s talent blossomed as he presented his work at various school and national events, often rewarded with notebooks and pens—a testament to his early recognition. Academic Journey Arun completed his higher education at Tri-Chandra Campus, later earning a degree in History from Tribhuvan University. Despite his academic path, it was poetry and songwriting that truly defined his life's purpose. Musical Career & Milestones His songwriting journey began in earnest in 2049 B.S. (1992 A.D.) with the song "Sapana Hainan Mera Najarma" during his college years. Encouraged by friends, he approached composer Tika Bhandari, and the song was later recorded at Music Nepal's Kalikasthan studio by singer Nagendra Shrestha, with a modest budget of NPR 4,000. However, it was his 2058 B.S. song "Janminda Eklai", written in just three minutes, that catapulted him to national fame. In 2059 B.S., Ranjana Cassette Center paid NPR 30,000 for the lyrics—an unprecedented amount at the time for a single song’s words, marking a milestone for lyricists in Nepal. Arun has since written over 1,000 songs, with more than 400 composed and recorded. His work spans themes of heartbreak, romance, reflection, and societal truths. This book is for you.” Arun still treasures that book as a symbol of mentorship and recognition. Brazesh Khanal is a respected Nepali writer, columnist, actor, and novelist known for his diverse contributions to Nepal’s literary and entertainment fields. Born and raised in Kathmandu, he began writing early, publishing his first story in Gorkhapatra while in eighth grade and went on to write screenplays and dialogues for over 100 TV shows and films. He has authored two novels — Yayawar (2013) and Juneli (2016) — acclaimed for their depth and nuance. As an actor, he debuted in theatre with the lead role in Bathtub and has also been involved in film work including writing the screenplay for Gothalo (1996). Pramod Dhungana is a prolific Nepali lyricist active since 1993, credited for writing songs in more than 50 Nepali films across three decades. Upendra Subba (born 26 September 1971, Angsarang, Panchthar) is a leading Nepali poet, lyricist, writer, and filmmaker, widely respected for his role in shaping modern Nepali literature and cinema. A co‑founder of the influential literary movement Srijanshil Arajakta (Creative Anarchy) with Rajan Mukarung and Hangyug Agyat, Subba’s work blends Limbu cultural identity with contemporary social themes.His acclaimed literary contributions include poetry collections such as Dada Mathi Ko Gham Jun Ra Gadtirka Raake Bhut Haru (2002), Hongrayo Bhog Ra Pangra (2004), Kholako Gita Ra Purana Kavitaharu (2013), and the celebrated short‑story collection Lato Pahad (2014), which later inspired the film Keba Kokma.In cinema, Subba is known for his long collaboration with director Ram Babu Gurung, contributing to hit films including Kabaddi, Kabaddi Kabaddi, and Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi.
