Brazesh Khanal is a respected Nepali writer, columnist, actor, and novelist known for his diverse contributions to Nepal’s literary and entertainment fields. Born and raised in Kathmandu, he began writing early, publishing his first story in Gorkhapatra while in eighth grade and went on to write screenplays and dialogues for over 100 TV shows and films. He has authored two novels — Yayawar (2013) and Juneli (2016) — acclaimed for their depth and nuance. As an actor, he debuted in theatre with the lead role in Bathtub and has also been involved in film work including writing the screenplay for Gothalo (1996). Known for bridging literature and performance, Brazesh remains an influential creative figure in Nepali culture.

Madhab Raj Kharel  (Madhab Kharel) is a prominent figure in the Nepali film industry. He began his career in 1998 with his first written and directed drama, "Jana Chetana," which became immensely popular in Nepal at that time. Following the success of "Jana Chetana," he produced and directed telefilms such as "Kasur" and "Kasto Yo Jiwan." Throughout his career, Kharel has directed several films that focus on human rights, love stories, research-based subjects, and women's rights. Some notable films in his directorial portfolio include "Hyebe Karait Bhor," "Birano Maya," "Dhunge Yug" (the first Nepali Silence movie ), "Dhunge Yug ... The Human Civilization," "Gadhimai 2066," "Durgamandu" & "Chitthi" In addition to his filmography, Kharel has directed around two dozen plus documentary films and over two dozen music videos to date. His contributions to the industry have been recognized through various awards and honors. Some of the accolades he has received include the Jury in Samjhana Digital Film Award (D-Cine Award) 2010, Sudaradevi Music Award in 2015 and 2018, Music Khabar Music Award in 2015, Model Songs Awards in 2018, Nepal Cultural International Film Festival in 2018 & 2021, Sagarmatha Music Award in 2018, Rastriya Sangeetkarmi Music Award in 2018, National Entertainment Award in 2021, and the Nepal-Africa Film Festival in 2021 & 2022. Kharel also holds a Guinness World Records, and he has been honored with the Best Director Awards and has also been decorated with the prestigious 'Prabal Janasewa Shree - Fourth' for his enormous contribution in Nepali cinema and arts. Prakash Sayami (born 21 March 1965) is a Nepali film director, writer, producer, and one of the country’s most respected media personalities. Known for his independent filmmaking spirit, Sayami has directed six feature‑length films, including Prithvi (1994), Simana (1997), Avtaar (2002), Zameen (2005), Rani Khola (2008), and Hatiyar (2010). Among them, Simana remains his most celebrated and widely recognized work.Beyond cinema, Sayami is a passionate writer and an avid collector of books, maintaining a personal library filled with English, Hindi, and Nepali literature. He is the author of Barshadi Dinharu and has written extensively on filmmaking, along with publishing poems, essays, plays, songs, and biographies. A multilingual creator, he writes in Newari, Hindi, English, and Nepali.Sayami studied filmmaking in Bombay and began his career in 1986 as an assistant director and scriptwriter for commercial Nepali films. He made his directorial debut in 1993, marking the beginning of a long and influential journey in Nepali cinema.He has represented Nepal in several international events, including the WIPO Asia‑Pacific Regional Symposium, and in 2008, he was elected Vice‑President of the Music Royalty Society of Nepal, working to protect musicians’ copyrights nationally and internationally.A respected film critic, media guru, and music promoter, Sayami has managed FM stations across Nepal and conceptualized popular television programs. He is currently associated with Ujyaalo 90 Network, contributing to the program Ajar Amar Geetharu.

Maunata Shrestha is a prominent Nepali screenwriter and film producer known for his prolific contribution to mainstream Nepali cinema. With a career spanning decades, he has written the story, screenplay, and dialogue for more than 145 feature films, including major commercial hits such as Khalanayak, Dadagiri, Myanmar Dhadkan, and many others.Recognized for his strong command of emotional storytelling, action‑drama structure, and audience‑driven dialogue, Shrestha has become one of the most reliable and respected writers in the Nepali film industry. Alongside writing, he has also produced several films under his banner, further strengthening his creative footprint in Nepali cinema.
