Nagendra Thapa played a significant role in bringing together two legendary figures in Nepali music, Narayan Gopal and Gopal Yonjan. He was instrumental in establishing their collaboration, which resulted in many timeless songs that have left a lasting impact on Nepali music. Shrawan Mukarung is a Nepali poet, writer, and lyricist known for his revolutionary and socially conscious works. Born on June 8, 1968, in Dilpa village, Bhojpur district, Nepal, he has published two books of poetry, one book of songs, one book of drama, and one album of songs. His literary contributions often reflect themes of social justice, identity, and cultural heritage. Some of his notable works include: Desh Khojdai Jada (Book) Mathi Mathi Sailungey Ma (Song) Bisenagachi ko Bayaan (Poem) Mukarang has been recognized for his contributions to Nepali literature, receiving the Moti Award from the National Youth Service in 2003. His writings have played a significant role in shaping modern Nepali poetry and literature.

Prakash Sayami (born 21 March 1965) is a Nepali film director, writer, producer, and one of the country’s most respected media personalities. Known for his independent filmmaking spirit, Sayami has directed six feature‑length films, including Prithvi (1994), Simana (1997), Avtaar (2002), Zameen (2005), Rani Khola (2008), and Hatiyar (2010). Among them, Simana remains his most celebrated and widely recognized work.Beyond cinema, Sayami is a passionate writer and an avid collector of books, maintaining a personal library filled with English, Hindi, and Nepali literature. He is the author of Barshadi Dinharu and has written extensively on filmmaking, along with publishing poems, essays, plays, songs, and biographies. A multilingual creator, he writes in Newari, Hindi, English, and Nepali.Sayami studied filmmaking in Bombay and began his career in 1986 as an assistant director and scriptwriter for commercial Nepali films. He made his directorial debut in 1993, marking the beginning of a long and influential journey in Nepali cinema.He has represented Nepal in several international events, including the WIPO Asia‑Pacific Regional Symposium, and in 2008, he was elected Vice‑President of the Music Royalty Society of Nepal, working to protect musicians’ copyrights nationally and internationally.A respected film critic, media guru, and music promoter, Sayami has managed FM stations across Nepal and conceptualized popular television programs. He is currently associated with Ujyaalo 90 Network, contributing to the program Ajar Amar Geetharu.

Manisha Gauchan is a Nepali writer, screenwriter, novelist, playwright, researcher, and former television journalist whose work spans literature, radio drama, journalism, and cinema. Recognized for her socially conscious storytelling, she explores themes of human emotions, disability, inclusion, identity, gender, and social justice through both fiction and screenwriting.Beginning her literary journey with poetry, Gauchan has established herself as a respected voice in contemporary Nepali literature. She is the author of four published books: the poetry collection Phoolharuko Rang Chaina (2003), the novel Walliko Diary (2006), Whitecane (2014), and Prativahan (2023). Her writings are widely appreciated for their emotional depth, character-driven narratives, and realistic portrayal of marginalized communities.Beyond literature, Gauchan has worked as a television journalist at Avenues Television, a Senior Radio Playwright at Antenna Foundation Nepal, and a freelance writer and researcher. Her multidisciplinary background has enriched her storytelling, allowing her to bridge journalism, literature, and visual media while advocating for inclusive narratives and social awareness.Expanding her creative journey into cinema, Manisha Gauchan co-wrote the screenplay for the Nepali feature film Bob Dai, directed by Praveen Shrestha. The project marks one of her notable contributions to the Nepali film industry as a screenwriter, bringing her literary sensibilities to the medium of film.
