Born on 17th Bhadra, Kathmandu, Ashusen Lama grew up in a musically enriched environment. The only child of Hari B. Lama and Kaili Lama, he attended various schools and completed his SLC from Shanti Bidhya School. Passionate about music from an early age, Ashusen pursued his academics at Pashupati Campus in Chabahil before taking a break to focus entirely on music. Entry into Music: Ashusen's musical journey began with winning the Asian Star title, which marked the start of his professional career. He also participated in notable reality shows like Brighter Timro Sur Mero Geet and Swor Sangam on Image FM, which helped him gain recognition. His first song, "Man Pani Timrai," recorded at Jems Pradhan’s studio, launched his career in music. Musical Career: Ashusen is well-known not only as a singer but also as a talented composer. His first album, Man Pani Timrai was a success, and he has since composed music for several Nepali films and albums. He was mentored by renowned figures like Pramod Nirwan and Sanjeev Singh, who greatly influenced his music career. Achievements and Upcoming Projects: Ashusen’s musical contributions have continued to earn him admiration, and he is currently working on his second album, which he hopes to release soon. Tara Devi: The Nightingale of Nepal Tara Devi Shrestha was born on January 15, 1946, in the vibrant neighborhood of Indra Chowk in Kathmandu, Nepal. She started her professional singing career at the tender age of seven, and her soulful voice quickly captured hearts. Tara Devi went on to record over 4,000 songs during her remarkable 40-year singing career. Versatility and Influence: Tara Devi’s music spanned various genres, from prayer songs to Nepali folk tunes. She was a versatile artist, and her compositions are regarded as classic gems in Nepal. Almost every singer in Nepal has been influenced by Tara Devi’s artistry in one way or another. Prechya Bajracharya famously known as Pari is a YouTube sensation who started her YouTube channel in 2012 to share her creativity. Pari rose to fame in 2013 when she took part in the Raw Barz Rap Battle. Milan Newar is Nepal’s most well Known Singer. Except Nepali she has sung India’s all the major north eastern languages (Assames, Bodo, Mishing) beside Rajsthani as well. Milan’s musical studies were not limited to herning her father and mothersing. She also studied under her Aunty Dukuna Newar and Accuired in good background in folk music and was trained by shree Badri Vyas in Rajasthani Folk Music. Other Achiviments She has performed stage shows in almost all the citiws of india and Nepal . like:- Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Chenai, jaipur, Nagpur, Silguri, Gantok, Darjeeling, Kathmandu, Biratnagar, Biragunj, Dharan . Early Carrer & Acheivements After coming to Guwahati , She Joined Production company “Surganga” Which has date released 40 Albums of Rajasthani folk songs, 10 asamese, 4 Bodo Albums & 10 Nepali Albums. 2003, proved to be a very crucial year in her life. This year on 30th October, she participated in all India musical competation prganaize by surganga. The programme was based on Assames and Rajasthani Folk songs and the pragramme was judged by Famous Musical Maestro of Bollywood late Naushad Ali and Famous Gazal Singer Pinaz Masani accompained by famous classical singer Shushila Rani Patel. Milan was the 1st runner up on this show and after this there was no looking back. After this competation she dedicated to lounch her own album of folk songs and her musical catrrer begain to flourish.
