Robin Tamang is a Nepalese singer, musician, actor and founder of rock band Robin & Looza & Robin and The New Revolution. Born in Singapore, he was youngest of five siblings born to the family of a British Army. Due to the different postings of his father, he moved to several country in his childhood like Hong Kong, Singapore and Brunei. During his schooling in Singapore, he used to listen to Jimmy Hendrix and Deep Purple, who became the true inspirations to him. Tara Devi, revered as “The Nightingale of Nepal,” was one of the most influential and beloved voices in Nepali music. Born on 15 January 1945 in Indrachowk, Kathmandu, she began singing at Radio Nepal as a young teenager and soon emerged as the defining female voice of modern Nepali music. Over a career spanning four decades, she recorded more than 4,000 songs, ranging from modern melodies and patriotic anthems to devotional and folk compositions, shaping the emotional and cultural soundscape of an entire nation.Her voice—soft, expressive, and deeply emotive—became synonymous with Nepali identity. Santosh Lama, born on 6th Shrawan, 2043 BS, in Naubise 4, Dhading, is a renowned Nepali singer known for his melodious voice and heartfelt songs. The youngest son of Surendra Lama and Bishnu Maya Lama, he grew up in a middle-class family alongside four brothers and one sister. Santosh’s passion for music began at a young age. He participated in various school competitions and gained early recognition. His breakthrough came when he won Image F.M. Sur Sangam in his Grade 10. He also participated in Timro Sur Mero Geet, reaching the quarterfinals. His musical journey led him to Doremie Music School, where he honed his skills with a 1-year Tabla course and a 3-year singing course. Santosh's big break came when he won Nepali Tara 2. This victory was a turning point in his career, and it was during this time that he recorded his first song, "Bani Parecha."
