Niruta Singh is a renowned actress and singer in Nepali cinema. Born in Darjeeling, India, she began her acting career in 1993 with the film Dakshina, directed by Tulsi Ghimire. She gained immense popularity for her role in the 2001 blockbuster Darpan Chhaya, which became the highest-grossing Nepali film of its time. Loonibha Tuladhar is a prominent Nepali actress and theater artist with a career spanning over two decades. She began her acting journey in 2001 with Abhi Subedi's play "Dreams of Peach Blossoms." Since then, she has performed in approximately three dozen plays, collaborating with renowned theater groups such as Naga Theatre, Hotel Vajra, and Shilpee Theatre. Beyond theater, Loonibha has made significant contributions to Nepali cinema and television. She gained popularity for her roles in television shows like "Pothi Basyo" and "Pawankali," the latter being a comedy talk-show she conceptualized. Her film appearances include "Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi" (2019) and "The Tiger's Nest" (2022). In addition to acting, Loonibha is actively involved in documentary filmmaking, with her works being showcased at various events, including the Indigenous Film Festival. Her diverse talents also extend to directing, as evidenced by her participation in the play "In the Red and Brown Water" (2014). Outside of her professional endeavors, Loonibha has a deep appreciation for cooking, especially Newari cuisine, and enjoys traveling, having explored much of Nepal and parts of India. She also has a fondness for embroidery and knitting, skills she learned during her childhood.

Bishnu Bhakta Phuyal

Bishnu Bhakta Phuyal was an artist and theater actor. He had been active in Nepali cinema for a long time. Phuyal passed away on the 19th of Poush, 2073 B.S. (January 3, 2017), while performing on stage at the Rastriya Nachghar in Kathmandu. He collapsed while portraying King Janak in the play Maharshi Yagya Valkya, directed by Badri Adhikari. Despite immediate attention, he could not be revived. Phuyal was also seen in the popular comedy series Tito Satya, where he played the role of actress Deepashree Niraula’s father. In addition to television, he acted in numerous Nepali films. He had once expressed a wish to die while working in the theater—and ultimately, he departed while performing on stage. His catchphrase “Youre my love” with hip-hop style from Tito Satya made him widely recognized and beloved by audiences.
