Durga Kharel, born on the 5th of Kartik in Bhadrapur, Jhapa, is a talented Nepali singer known for her melodious voice. The youngest in a family of five siblings, Durga was always supported by her family, especially her parents Khem Raj and Laxmi Kharel. Musical Journey: Durga’s passion for music began in her childhood, but it wasn’t until she moved to Kathmandu in 2059 BS that she pursued it seriously. She completed her B. Music degree at Indira Sangeet Vidyaalaya, where she honed her skills. Her breakthrough came when she participated in Nepali Tara in 2062 BS, where she reached the top ten.
