Bhintuna Joshi is a talented Nepali actress, model, dancer, and cultural ambassador, best known for her work in Nepal Bhasa films. Born in Kathmandu, she began her artistic journey at a young age, appearing in advertisements and music videos before transitioning into film.
She gained recognition for her performances in Newar-language films such as Matinaya Kali, Yaa Mikha, Yaka Mhya, and Tyaga. Her role in the acclaimed TV series Singha Durbar as Sumnima Bajracharya further showcased her versatility. She also starred in the Nepali film Megha (2014), directed by Samjhana Upreti Rauniar.
Beyond acting, Bhintuna Joshi is the Cultural Ambassador of the World Newah Organisation (WNO), reflecting her commitment to preserving and promoting Newah heritage and identity. She was honored with the Best Actress award in 2023 for her role in Ya Mikha.
