She started her acting career from the successful movie “Kaha Bhetiyela” by late actor Shree Krishna Shrestha.

Born Jharana Bajracharya Rashid in Kathmandu, she grew up in a multicultural household with a Hindu mother, Lalana Bajracharya, and a Muslim father, Rashid.
