He made his directorial debut with Nishana and went on to direct several commercial Nepali films including Bhool Bhaye Maaf Gara, Kaslai Diun Yo Joban, Miss U, 3 Lovers, and Love Birds.Before entering filmmaking, he worked in Nepali radio as an RJ at Radio Lumbini, Synergy FM, and Nepal FM, later becoming a well‑known VJ and program producer at Nepal Television, Kantipur Television, and Channel Nepal. His media career includes directing over 100+ music videos, documentaries, and TV commercials.He currently resides in the Dallas–Fort Worth, USA, serving as Chairman of Maya Digital and hosting the popular diaspora podcast Namaste USA on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube. He also runs THE SDP TIMES, a Nepali community digital channel.His contributions to Nepali cinema earned him appointments to the Central Film Censor Board and the Film Development Board of Nepal, and he has served as Secretary of the Directors Guild of Nepal and Nepal Film Producers Association (NFPA).
