Sushila Rayamajhi was a respected Nepali film artist known for her natural, emotionally grounded performances and her versatile contributions to cinema. Beginning her career through radio plays, she later worked at Rastriya Naachghar before transitioning fully into films, where she appeared in more than 50 movies. She gained recognition with her lead role in Chot and went on to act in acclaimed films such as Prem Pinda, A Mero Hajur, Kaha Bhetiyela, Pahuna, Nata Ragat Ko, and Yug Dekhi Yug Samma. She also produced and co‑produced films like Dhan Sampati and Pinjada, showcasing her creative range. Rayamajhi passed away on 26 January 2012 after battling uterine cancer, leaving behind a meaningful legacy in Nepali cinema.  

Shankar Shrestha Shankar Shrestha is a Nepali actor, singer, model, and businessman based in the United Arab Emirates. He is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Expertise Group in Abu Dhabi, which operates businesses in hospitality, recruitment, beauty, and fashion across the UAE and Nepal. In addition to his entrepreneurial career, Shrestha is known for his performances in Nepali films and music videos. Early life and education Shankar Shrestha was born on April 25 in Budhabare, Jhapa District, Nepal. He completed a bachelor’s degree in English. From an early age, Shrestha was interested in arts and performance, which later led him to pursue a career in the Nepali entertainment industry alongside his business ventures. Career Business Shrestha is the founder and CEO of Expertise Group, a business conglomerate based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The group operates several companies, including: Restaurants Document clearing services Ladies’ salons Recruitment agencies in both UAE and Nepal A fashion retail chain in Nepal Film and acting Shrestha began his acting career in the Nepali film industry, gaining recognition for his roles in movies such as: Man Bina Ko Dhan Pariwartan He became popular for portraying negative roles in these films and has several upcoming movie projects in development. Bishnu Bhakta Phuyal was an artist and theater actor. He had been active in Nepali cinema for a long time. Phuyal passed away on the 19th of Poush, 2073 B.S. (January 3, 2017), while performing on stage at the Rastriya Nachghar in Kathmandu. He collapsed while portraying King Janak in the play Maharshi Yagya Valkya, directed by Badri Adhikari. Despite immediate attention, he could not be revived. Phuyal was also seen in the popular comedy series Tito Satya, where he played the role of actress Deepashree Niraula’s father. In addition to television, he acted in numerous Nepali films. He had once expressed a wish to die while working in the theater—and ultimately, he departed while performing on stage. His catchphrase “Youre my love” with hip-hop style from Tito Satya made him widely recognized and beloved by audiences.
