Kamal Khatri, born on 8th Mangshir in Hetauda, is a prominent figure in the Nepali music scene. Growing up in a musical family, Kamal's father, Puskar Bahadur Gotame Khatri, worked in a bank, while his mother, Laxmi Devi Khatri, was a homemaker. Though Kamal spent his early childhood in Hetauda and later Sarlahi, it was his passion for music that shaped his path. Early Life and Education: Kamal completed his schooling at Shree Chakra Janta Higher Secondary School and later pursued his higher education at R.R. College. However, his heart was always set on music, and after completing his S.L.C., Kamal decided to follow his dreams, moving to Kathmandu in 2059 BS to immerse himself in the city's vibrant music scene. Musical Journey: Kamal’s early days in Kathmandu were full of challenges. He initially worked as a technician in a local studio, which allowed him to gradually familiarize himself with the music industry. In 2062 BS, Kamal made his debut by recording his first song, marking the beginning of his musical career. His big break came when he joined Ethos Band in 2063 BS as the lead vocalist. The band’s songs, especially Nakkali Maiya, brought Kamal into the limelight, but it was the iconic track Sustari Suatari that truly cemented his place in Nepali music. Solo Career: Building on the success of his time with Ethos Band, Kamal Khatri pursued a solo career and released his first album, Pida. The album was a huge hit, with songs like Pida and Sambodhan becoming fan favorites. His music videos gained widespread airplay on television and FM stations, solidifying his reputation as a talented and influential artist in Nepal. Born on 17th February in Sindhuli, Nepal, Megh Lama is a passionate and dedicated modern Nepali singer known for his soulful voice and emotional expression in contemporary Nepali music. Raised in a musically supportive family, with parents Dilli Meghan Ghalan and Selmo Maya Ghalan, he grew up alongside two elder brothers and one elder sister. Although mischievous in childhood, Megh always showed a deep love for music, humming and singing modern Nepali and Hindi songs informally throughout his youth. After completing his schooling at Shree Mahendra Janta Secondary School, he pursued further studies at Chatur Bhujeshwor Multiple College in Sukhepokhari, Sarlahi. It was after his SLC that he decided to turn his musical passion into a professional career. Driven by this dream, he moved to Kathmandu, initially working at a law firm while seeking musical opportunities. Megh Lama formally entered the Nepali music scene with the release of his debut album “Megh” in 2059 BS, marking the beginning of a promising musical journey. In 2063 BS, his second album “Love Station” was released, featuring the widely appreciated track “Naulo Bhasha Aanibani”, which garnered him significant popularity and recognition. His third project, “Maina,” further solidified his presence in the industry. The album was accompanied by two music videos and continued to reflect his growth as a singer and performer. Known for his heartfelt delivery and modern vocal style, Megh Lama continues to be a respected name in Nepali music, with a fan base that appreciates his lyrical depth and emotional connection to the audience.

Lakpa Sherpa is a renowned Nepali legendary singer. He has given a song that can never be forgotten in Nepali music. His famous songs include "Jhaskiera Dukcha Yo Mutu Mero ", among others. His birth was on BS 2020, Manshir 29 in 'Ilam-Chamaita'. He also passed the voice test from All India Radio. Later, he also passed the voice test from Radio Nepal.

Prem Dhoj Pradhan is a Nepalese musician, born in 1938 in Chautara, a small town 28 miles east of Kathmandu. He is a singer, composer, and a regional playback singer. He sings in the two major languages of Nepal, Nepal Bhasa and Nepali. He is also known as the Golden Voice and King of Romantic Melodies of Nepal. Prem Dhoj is known for being the first to perform with a guitar in Nepal. He was also the first Nepali singer to sing with Indian playback singer Usha Mangeshkar for the movie Maitighar in 1965. In 1985, he sang duet songs with Asha Bhosle for the movie Mayalu in Bombay, India. Prem Dhoj has varied his musical style throughout his career and recorded approximately 700 songs on Radio Nepal, including live broadcasting and recorded songs.
