Avay sang 'purbeli kanchho', 'supari jai ko mala', aakashaima are very popular songs, "Sali Bhena" is the most popular song he has given to music. Over two dozen songs have been voiced by Avay Dhungel so far and six albums have been released.

Lok Bahadur Chhetri is a Nepali folk singer known for his expressive voice and his contribution to preserving rural lok‑geet traditions. Active across several decades, he became recognized for songs rooted in migration, village life, and the emotional landscape of Nepali communities. Nawin K. Khadka is a Nepali Purbeli folk singer, composer, and cultural documentarian known for preserving Eastern Nepal’s Jhyaure, Khyali, and traditional dance‑based musical heritage. Active through the Arun Valley Cultural Research Center, he has performed and composed major works such as “Chha Salam Kasari Bolau,” “Hou Bari Lai Lai,” “Hunna Ma Bhane Ram Saili,” and “Ama Jyu Ko Butte Ma Choli.” Khadka frequently serves as singer, music composer, videographer, editor, and director, making him one of the few multi‑disciplinary creators in Purbeli folk. His projects highlight authentic Sankhuwasabha–Arun Upatyaka rhythms, traditional dance forms, and community‑based cultural preservation.
