N.B. A former international Taekwondo athlete, Basnet brings precision, discipline, and deep physical understanding to his craft, giving his action design a distinctive realism. He later expanded into filmmaking, directing projects such as Password and Lakhey, which showcased his ability to merge action with atmospheric storytelling. Recognized for his leadership, creativity, and on‑set clarity, Samrat Basnet continues to influence the next chapter of Nepali action filmmaking.
